Adventures of the "Moms" Panel

Still nothing....since Bret apparently isn't going to give us further clues...anyone up for some fun speculation?

My guess would be it has something to do with blogs...and I'm only guessing that due to the recent Mom's blog convention and the fact that two of our Mom's attended.

Any other ideas?

Man, you took the good one! Blogs would be a great fit!

My guess was going to be a website for the Moms Club members? With a newsletter, and that kind of thing...but I bet you're closer!

Hi,

Maybe it could be a new video of the Moms Panelists at the opening of the new Toy Story Mania attraction. That might help guests become extra excited for their upcoming vacation.

I wonder if the Moms Panel could be starting its own podcast show. Maybe a weekly show where guests could call in their questions?

HI everyone! I've been following your adventure think you've all done a remarkable job. Have any of you taken your free trips that came with the job yet? Were you able to stay anywhere you chose?
Please update here if there id anything new on the Mom's panel site that we should be supporting!
:lovestruc :) :3dglasses :cool2:

Hey, Bret:

Way to drive traffic to the Disney World Moms Panel site!! ;) At least, I know that I've already checked it a bazillion times. ('Guess I don't handle suspense very well! :rolleyes1 )

Well I know this has driven up MY traffic to the site. Bret and Laura got to see a preview of the new feature yesterday. I've heard all about it. But I haven't actually seen it. And my kids are DYING to see it!!!

As to another question ... yes, several of the Moms have taken a reward trip already. We're getting fun trip reports back.

Erin (who's still waiting like everyone else)

Oh...

And thanks to Mike for inviting us on the podcast. I certainly had a great time. I'm impatiently waiting for that too.

This is DIFFICULT!

Erin

Wow! I would have expected you'd get a "sneak peak," too - being a Moms Panelist and all!

(I'm glad we're in such good company, anyway -- as we wait.. and wait... and wait... ;) )

Oooooh! ALL of these sound like viable options to me! (I like the way you ladies think!! :thumbsup2 ...And, if it's "none of the above," then the Disney PR team should definitely consider implementing them! ::yes:: )

Now, if the good folks at Disney could just put us all out of our misery and post that "new feature" already!

Hmmmm, well now.. if the kids are DYING to see it - it must be something more than a blog or a website.. what would kids like... hmmmmm... how about video tips of the mom's (and dad) showing off rides, giving interactive tours of the resorts, showing what not to miss?

Toy Story Mania video -- as Kristen/"I believe" suggested? :confused3

Bret did say that he attended the opening ceremony!

Or a video of the Imagineering event that was in NYC? I cant' remember the name of that one, but it looked fun!

Wait a minute: You may be on to something.

In one of the recent articles about Bret, didn't he mention that he'd been busy creating a few videos about Park attractions? (At the time, I glossed over it, but it did leave me with questions... such as "Where might one find said videos?") 'Just a thought... :confused3

Hmmmm....

Here's an interesting quote from the article "Bret Caldwell, Disney Dad," which was featured in the June 2008 edition of NorthShore magazine:

"Pulling from his own experiences and various guidebooks, he answers at least eight questions a week online while creating "how-to" videos that run the gamut from packing tips to pin-trading strategies."

Now, maybe the article is referring to some of the helpful video footage that already has been posted to the Moms Panel site; however, I've yet to see anything related to packing tips or pin-trading strategies... Did I miss something, or could this be our lead??

Ok, I get it now... popcorn... to watch the videos.. Good Hint, Ratboy, too bad I'm so slow sometimes!!:rotfl2:

Oh, I think the popcorn is for Bret to enjoy as he sits back and watches the "drama" unfold in this thread -- while we run wild with speculation...

One parting thought before I head out with the kids to the playground: You're one cruel man, Bret Caldwell! Pure torture!! :rotfl:

Hopefully, there will be some news when I return! ::yes::

Hmmm...interesting...very interesting! When I read this, I almost think 3DB is sitting in the corner of a room...with a one way mirror with all of us, except Disgeek watching. Disgeek is actually IN the room, interrogating away..."WERE YOU, OR WERE YOU NOT MAKING HOW TO VIDEOS?!"

Hmmm....

Interesting....

Bret, the next round is on us! popcorn::

Any one see anything yet on the site?

I still haven't seen anything new come up.

I haven't been to the site in a bit, so can anyone tell me if the video that is on there now is new or has it been on there?

I'm asking because it looks like it has the Podcast included in it....
