Hi Diane, can I ask you a question / favor? How did you get the Mickey Moms Club logo in your sig? I just love it and would love to put it in mine, but have not the first clue to go about it. I am a member of the club, so that is cool, but I am clueless when it comes to the technical stuff! Would you mind sharing your secret please?

‘Looks like our mommy bloggers have been busy recapping the events of their weekend at Disney.

I’m posting a bunch of links to their blogs (below). Of particular interest, though, is the brainchild of Jennifer, the mommy blogger behind SNAPSHOT.

She has introduced “Destination Disney,” a weekly blogging event (described as a “Disney Carnival”), which will cover various Disney-related topics such as Disney Magic, Planning Your Trip to Disney, Disney on a Budget, Disney Hotels and Resorts, and Disney for Adults. (…Somewhere the Disney executives are smiling! )

Seasoned Disney-goers are invited to share their stories and tips (either within their own blogs or via comments submitted to SNAPSHOT). Jennifer also has hinted that she may bestow a few prizes as incentives.

‘Looks like the perfect forum for passionate Disney moms like us. And – who knows? – maybe one of us will walk away with a little prize for our efforts! Click here and here for more details.

I'm here! (Thanks for asking...)

I've mostly been lurking on this thread and posting on another one of my favorites (regarding the CMO contest).

We recently kicked off a "Virtual" Road Trip to Disneyland. (Several of the regulars decided to take a “virtual” road trip across the U.S., stopping along the way to pick up participants and "tour" their hometowns!) It's informative and a great way to squeeze in a [virtual] vacation!

Stuck on a plane that doesn't seem to want to go to Newark (I'll bite my tongue and not say anything less than nice about NJ ).

So, to pass the time I thought I'd post some minor news...

Kara and I are going to WDW next week as part of a national press event to celebrate the launch of Toy Story Mania. We don't know much yet. Itinerary so far:

Thursday night 5/15 - 6pm Cirque show
Friday night 5/16 - MP&PP
Saturday morning 5/17 - Breakfast at Pop Century confused3 )

We are staying at SSR. Kara arrives Thursday afternoon. I am arriving Wednesday evening and staying at Pop Century for one night (on my own dime -- I'm arriving early since I need to be on a conference call Thursday morning).

I don't think there will be limos and champagne this time! Each member of the press is allowed to bring their families, so I think it will be a more informal and kid friendly plan.

Once we know more, we'll be sure to share it with you.

I'm thinking you'll likely meet Justin Muchoney, Disney's new Chief Magic Official, since he's supposed to make his first trip to the World in his official ambassador role next week. 'Guess you'll be working the same event!

If you see him, could you tell him that DISgeeks says "Hi"?? (He should know who I am from the CMO thread.)

And, yeah, that breakfast at Pop Century sort of has my curiosity piqued, too!

Well...I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but it was BOUND to happen!

I went to Sam's (of all places) on Tuesday after work (about 2 p.m. in BROAD DAYLIGHT), and when I came out and loaded my groceries and put down the hatch on my Element...guess what WASN'T THERE ANYMORE!

Yep, you guessed it! My Mickey Moms magnet! UGH! Not only was THAT sacred magnet GONE, but my First Baptist Weekday Preschool (where I work) magnet was gone too!

I mean--really, who would steal both of those magnets in the short time I was in Sam's? What would someone want with a First Baptist Preschool magnet?

I have asked EVERYONE, and none of my friends have them! (They've "stolen" my magnets before!)

Oh well....I'm praying it shows up somewhere! Because if I see MY magnets on another car...it AIN'T gonna be good!!!!

In case anyone forgot to send flowers for Mother's Day, you can still send some virtual flowers from Disney!! Just go to the Moms Panel site

(http://disneyworldforum.disney.go.com/home.aspx)

...and click on the Disney Ad on the left side of the page (it says "You're The Magic Behind Every Smile. Disney Celebrates You on this Mother's Day"). I think it is connected with the Epcot Flower and Garden show.

Looks like you can make a custom bouquet of up to 4 flowers.

I know! I know! Every time I go by the back of my car, I look at that little round mark on the back of my Element to see if they have magically reappeared!!!

I keep thinking one of my friends took them as a joke (they've done that before).

I mean I can see taking the Mickey magnet, but not the magnet from the school where I work at!!
