Just to clarify, while LindyN may well be right, she speaks from experience as a Travel Agent - not a Disney CM.

DisneyDine is the only dining CM that I know of that has regularly been updating the CM and we haven't heard from her since early December.

The fact that any training may have started is news to me, hopefully this means that the system will launch sooner than January! :goodvibes

I called today to add flights to my reservation and the very very nice woman told me within the next two weeks but definately try back the first week on January.

I asked her about the ADR system and she was like "The what?" and I said Dining reservations :rolleyes1

She goes "Oh! I've been using it all this time and I didn't even know that's what ya'll called it" :rotfl:

She was very nice :) I plan on calling Jan 2 to see what the deal is. :thumbsup2

I just got off the phone after modifying my March resort ressie and asked about the ADRs. I was told Jan. 2, and the CM also speculated that they might be on-line.

She also thanked me for not throwing a fit when I heard I couldn't make my ADRs yet. LOL! :goodvibes Customer service is hard work. BTDT.

I called for a group dining ressie at Chef Mickey's today. I was told that the timeline has been pushed back to "late January-ish". She also mentioned that May and June park hours probably won't be posted until then as well. I am not taking her words as gospel, though. She said check the website for calendar updates.

Hi guys!!

Just wanted to let you know that dining has more than one department/location. It is possible that some agents have begun training, although I have not heard that anyone has, as of yet. I can only speak for my department though, which has not yet started training. Sorry for the bummer....
:sad2:

DisneyDine - Thank you for the update. :worship:

Do you still *think* they will open up another month on the 22nd?

I heard the same today. On a lighter note, I got an ADR for CRT for breakfast on my birthday! Yay!

Thanks Disney Dine... what do you think of opening the window on December 22? I'll be taking all my paperwork with me to work just in case.

A CM told me on the phone today no ADR's until mid January. Just thought I would share.

Really? Cause the recorded message that plays when you call the reservation line says that they are taking reservations until March 22, not counting V&A, CRT and Chef Mickey.

I think what the PP meant was that they are now not going to start taking ADR's past 3/22 until mid January. I hope they at least open a window to allow people to book past 3/22. This is going to be a mess when it does open!

This wouldn't surprise me since they still haven't posted any May hours yet. :sad2: Although why they can't release May hours anyway is beyond me. They released April hours and they can't make ADR's either. I would just like to find out if I need to change my ressies for CRT and CM before they're impossible to change. Right now I'm just hoping for the best. This looks like it could be quite a mess. At least I don't have to worry about actually calling to make ADR's since we're staying CL this trip. (But I still have to update my planning itinerary.)

I understand delays but it really does affect whether or not the dining plan has value to me. If I can't book my ADR's before 45 days out, and I am not set up for all of my TS meals, I am not going to risk paying for a dining plan that I may not be able to use properly.

There are 5 adults on our plan and it wouldn't make sense financially if I cannot guarantee our TS meals. Also, we're going during Easter break so I have no illusions about walking up and getting seated anywhere without an ADR.

I agree Eastern, that has been my plan too. I am cancelling the DDP on Jan 1 if they don't open up ADR's by then. Easter week will be stressful enough.

Just called today (12-19). CM told me to call bcak at the end of the first week in January.

Keep us up to date if anything changes.
