ADR System Upgrade - History

Anyone know what the latest date I can make ressies for? DH just decided that we would go back in March for a long weekend and I need to try and get some great ressies!

It's ridiculous. I'll be competing for phone lines with people for April and possibly May and June (I am traveling April 6-13). I really want to book my LeCellier, Narcoosee's and Boma--the others are easy to get. I was told "next month", but hope she didn't mean January.

Honestely - I'm happy that I didn't need to make my ADRs today. Without the May hours it was really hard figuring it all out last night. By the time I went to bed I had given up on having the perfect ADRs and wasn't very happy with my tentative itinerary. Ideally - we would have the park hours and have made our ADRs already, but since WDW hasn't put out the hours yet, I'm happy to sit and wait. That much more planning I get to do later! On the flip side - I can understand how frustrated those of you are who are going in late March/early April must be.

The key question is when in March are you going? Currently (as of today anyways -- could change anytime now) they are only making ADRs through March 22nd. So if you are planning before the 22nd, you are golden.

It's poor schmucks like me that are can only plan 1/2 our ADRs that are still waiting, and waiting, and waiting...... (going March 19-26)

I merged this into the exisitng sticky about this subject, we're trying to keep the discussion about the ADR upgrades to one thread since it is such a huge deal that is affecting so many people. (Easier to reference one thread to get the latest versus determining what the latest thread is)

ADR's are through March 22 right now, the first post of this thread will always have the most current information. We're all working really hard to keep this current at least. So far we've been pretty good.

No - they're indicating possibly January now.

Don't know about what recording you all have been getting, but the 3rd prompt that I get to listen to, has the woman talking about upgrading to a more "robust" software system. Sure enough there is a software application for robust, but it just seems like a funny adjective to me.

Well...i tought it sound funny and that i did not heard correctly because i speak french...i am glad to see it is not because of that!

Hope so make my ADR soon, we are going april 19 to april 29....i want to eat with Winnie the Pooh !!!! Uh...i am the mom here....i am supposed to act like a grown up....sorry...i forgot...again !

That's what I'm hoping. With all these CM's giving various dates, no one but us will know when to actually call!! (We can hope!)

Hi All,

I totally forgot about the dining system upgrade and tried to make ressies today for my March 30 trip. I was told "any week now" the new system will be up and running. The CM I spoke to also said that they were not told when exactly though. She was a DVC member services CM if that makes a difference.
