I know that before they were changing the reservation system and you couldnt do the normal 180 days booking except for CRT, CM and another one...We are going April 23-28th and I called and got CM for us the night we arrive back in October but that was the only reservation that I could get at the time....When will I be able to do the rest?

They should at least open it up to the end of April, because all of us End of March and early april people are tired.. My day goes.. Get up--Check Dis, Get ready for work, go to work--check dis, do emails, a little work--check dis, more work, lunch -- check dis, and so on.. Just to see if someone has said anything about making reservations. It wouldnt be so bad but there are places i wanna eat that are popular so i MUST make sure i call ASAP when it opens. Come on Disney were EXHAUSTED :surfweb: Once i can imput some conformations in my excel spreadsheet for dining ill finally be able to sleep with ease at night :cloud9:

See the sticky at the top of this forum. Current dates is ADRs through 3/22 except for the few exceptions that have remained at 180 days.

Have to agree with Scoopy. It is getting tiring, but for anyone who should be able to make their ADR's at this point. We have 05/04-05/14 and have only been able to make a breakfast ressie for CM's so far. We have 6 more to go and it's frustrating to say the least. :headache: This is the first time we actaully wanted to make more than one ADR and look what happens. :sad2:

The last time that I spoke with a dining CM, I just get told to call every week as it can open up anytime. I have not called in awhile and have just been monitoring the situation through the Dis.

Just wanted to give another shout out to DisneyDine. You are a blessing to us who want to be kept in the loop. Please, please keep us updated!

I do not blame anyone for not trusting Disney and calling, if it was me I'd be tempted as well.

However, to everyone who is so worried here try to relax a little if you can. EVERY single time it's opened - DisneyDine has let us know because they receive notice a few days in advance. I think our shortest notice has been 48 hours.

All CM's may not see the notices (She said that everyone doesn't check the notes section that they're supposed to), but they are there on the computer.

For those encouraging to call back a lot they could be...

CM's who don't check their notes

CM's who are independent contractors - they get paid per call and the more calls they make an hour the more they get paid. Can you imagine the mint they're making by everyone calling to see if the window has opened up? "Nope, call back tomorrow" Certainly this doesn't represent a majority (or at least I hope not), but it's a possibility that some are doing this.

CM's who are lonely and would miss the 1,000 calls they get a day wondering if the window is open yet :rotfl:

Another point to consider - people are calling for CRT in February and getting their choices of times. I believe that this is due to a few factors - one is the economy - reservations are down. The other is the ADR system confusion. We KIND of know what's going on because we're here. There are a few other message boards such as this that let people 'know' what's going on. But we are a TINY percentage of those at Disney on any given day. Many people are just waiting until 90 days prior (I believe) and calling blindly.

Lastly  It's tough, but everyone is in the same boat.

For the CM's sake I'd rather they didn't open the windows and shoerten the time that they operate on two systems. Nobody has an advantage over anyone else this way and it's easier for the poor CM's. I can't imagine how they're going to be slammed when this thing finally goes online.

I called Disney Dining yesterday about when to make reservations after March 22. I was told that they expect mid-December to mid-January for the new system to be up and running.

Imma just keep hoping its soon. I have my boss on standby so when it goes online im beelining for the door for dining ressies. LOL  She says im nuts, I just dont think she knows how detrimental to my health getting the ressies i want are!!!!!! :scared1: Pixie dust for all :wizard:

I booked for 3/21 & 3/22 yesterday & the CM told me to not call back until Jan for the rest.

I am really liking not needing to make my resies until later!

I keep changing my mind on where to eat, which park to be in, etc.

so. very. tired. :faint: Please Disney, all I want for Chistmas is to be able to finish making my ADRs!!!:santa:

It's beginning to look like a whole lot of counter service meals for my dd and I in April! I can just imagine what it's going to be like as soon as they open up for after March ADRs!!! Kinda scary.
But, we're going again in August, so we'll do more table service then I guess.

I usually just view and do not post, but something came to me that may be why everything is delayed.
May and June hours are not out yet either.

What if Disney is waiting to see how the promotion goes. By this I mean, if the bookings do not increase, then maybe there will be restaurant cutbacks.

Some character meals may be reduced, hours cut for some dining establishments, etc. or restaurants even close for certain days. I know we went last Christmas and Tusker house character breakfast had walk-ups available during Christmas week and it was packed.

System may be ready, but Disney is waiting to see if the demand is there. Cut hours at the parks, then have to cut dining hours that is why we can not make ADR's in May

My 180 day mark is Dec. 8th. I guess this means I shouldn't bother calling. I'm thinking that even if they open it all up on one day it won't be any harder to get ressies than usual. You still have the same number of people traveling to Disney at a certain time. I think it will be better to wait a few days after they open up and let the phones lines clear up. What does everyone else think?

Now it's just the waiting game!

I go 3/21-3/28 and am waiting. And I'm impatient!!! :sad2:

I only have two ressie's to make since I put CM and CRT at the end of the vacation instead of the beginning so I could make other ressie's for the first two days.

I already have CP, 1900 PF, Tusker House, CRT and CM booked. These are all MUST haves.

Just waiting to book Ohana's dinner and PSB. These are semi must haves. I will be disappointed if I can't get PSB but I have two days and all meals I'll take so I'm hoping. I have two days to pick for Ohana's dinner too.

Crossing fingers and thanks for teh updates!

I doubt that has anything to do with it. Theyre implementing a brand new system thats tied into the resort reservation system which isnt that great in the first place, Siebel/SBC. I can only imagine all the bugs theyre trying to work out of that. plus they also have to train the entire floor short of a few departments on how to use the new system and they cant take them all off the floor at the same time so they have to train in shifts which takes more time

I know how all of you feel!!! My future in laws are flying in from Ireland on 4/28 and all my family is coming in on 4/30 and many of these people have never been to WDW before (including my FIL's!!!)...

This is for my wedding/honeymoon trip, so I am especially freaked out!!!

I mean, I really need everything to go as planned, I have had all our meals planned out for months....I also would like to make an impression on my FIL's as the whole Disney Wedding thing kind of threw them I know and they are thinking it's going to be all a joke and they're going to be eating hamburgers and chicken tenders I think...I have some great places planned for everyone to eat at and that first day they open up the phones is going to be a nightmare!!! I might have to call in sick I'm thinking!!:rotfl:

I keep watching this board and another one I am on for any news of any updates. I just want to say thanks to everyone who keeps posting the info they get when they call!!

while it's true that the same number of people may be travelling at the end of March, back at the end of September when I ordinarily could have made my ADRs 180 days out, there were probably very few people ready to make ADRs. I was competing with a small group of diehards for ADRs then. Now, however, it's possibly going to be only be 70 or so days before I go to WDW before I can make my final March ADRs. LOTS of people will have decided where they want to eat by then and I fear I (and other late March goers) will be competing with a MUCH bigger group of callers if they don't open it up until mid January. That's my fear, anyway.

I think the issue is when the parks will be open. That is why Disney is taking their time with the new reservation system. It may not be ready, but if there was no recession, it would probably be up and running by now.
If bookings are down in April, May and June, then they may change April hours as well as revise May and June hours from last year.
One can not make reservations for 8:00 pm at Brown Derby if Studios close at 7:00 pm.
By not letting you make a ADR 6 months in advance, it gives Disney the flexibility to see what will happen with advanced bookings. They can not do anything for Jan, Feb and March, but they can now make changes to the schedule for April, May and June. It is a business decision, though not sure if it is a good one.
