Fos-dopt kids a plug here...

In the US many counties and states have children available for placement thru Foster-Adoption.
These kids have been taken away from their biological parents for many, many reasons. Some are in the system because there just wasn't any other option available to their mothers. Parental rights will be or have been terminated by the court and adoption is the best plan for the child.
They range in age from infants to teens, all races, creeds and needs-- From minimal to severe special needs.
These adoptions are at little or NO Cost. Hard to place kids who have special needs... or MAY need help later on receive monthly cash to help pay the extra cost associated with their care.
It is not for everybody. BUT it is something worth looking into.

All kids deserve a loving parent... and a place to call home.

Give your local county adoption agency, Dept of social service a call if you even think it is something you may consider.
