I am looking at the 2/$30 DS games at Walmart for my DD8 this xmas who will also be getting the DS. She has no 'gaming' experience other than playing her friends DS here and there.

I was hoping you DISer's could help me choose the games. I am looking at Sonic Rush, M&M kart racing and Boogie. Have any of you heard of/played these? What are my best options?

TIA!!!:goodvibes

My DD11 wants MM cart racing, she has had her DS for awhile and she really loved the dog ones were you take care of the dog feed it give it a bath etc. she also liked the baby one that you take care of the baby, both of these are really cute. I like the Brain age ones for a different twist, This year she also wants the interior designer and wedding planner ones, just realized these may not be 2/ 30 but hope this helps!!

Hi. I don't have a ds but I checked amazon for these games for you and they don't have very good reviews. I would recommend watching the ads and finding better games for a better price. Hope that helps :goodvibes

Last week Best buy had a Hannah Montana Ds game for 9.99 so maybe some more offers will come up like this that would probably be more entertaining for your dd

Toys R Us has some DS games for $9.99 this week- one of them is the Build a Bear game. We don't have that one so I'm not sure how good it is, but you may check reviews to see. I have a DD8 too, and she loves her dog game, not sure the name of it but she trains and cares for a dog....maybe Nintendogs?
She got Imagine Fashion Designer for her Bday but doesn't play it as much. I'm getting her the Club Penguin DS game for Christmas. Watch this board for great game sales!

Thanks for the imput! :thumbsup2

I have been desperately watching the sales/internet for specials. My DD11 just get a DS for her Bday last week, so I've been looking for games for both girls for awhile.

The problem is they don't ever like any of the ones on special. :confused3 They have both kind of outgrown the Disney stuff (i.e. Hannah Montana, HSM, etc.) and that seems to be what is always on sale. I'm afraid Build-a-bear might be too babyish.

DD11 has Brain age, Ener-G dance and Cooking Mama. DD8 will be getting cooking Mama2 w/ her DS at Xmas. I know they can share but I thought a couple of extra games might be nice and the price was right. I guess I will keep looking....

:goodvibes
