AAA Multiple Fast Pass

Yes! It does still exist. In an earlier post I complained about my AAA office not having any info, and I finally found someone else who was willing to check for me. Now my next question.

Would it be worth booking with AAA just to get this feature? AAA was a little more than Disney Travel Co, and I could possibly stay off site if not wanting this feature. We will be there the weekend before Thanksgiving- Thurs. to Sunday. Will it be crowded, or will many of the rides be walk-ons?

I don't think you can expect walk-on lines for most rides during any weekend, although it shouldn't be as bad as the following weekend. Somes schools will take the entire week of Thanksgiving off, so you will likely see crowds increasing around the Friday before Thanksgiving. Before that, I would think the crowds would be pretty good. It should be a great time; most of the holiday magic will be on display.

As for the AAA Enhanced FP, I LOVED LOVED LOVED it. But its individual value is dependent upon how crowded the parks are likely to be and if you are the type that wants to spend much of your time riding the FP rides. If you spend most of your time in Fantasyland, and avoid the Mountains, then it won't help you a lot.

By the way, when I booked a AAA trip last summer, I found I saved quite a bit over booking through WDTC directly. I had several options quoted, and found that the cost savings was only for view rooms though, so that view rooms cost little more than standard rooms when I booked through AAA. There was little to no price difference between AAA and WDTC standard view rooms quotes. There was also little savings by booking through AAA for view rooms at PPH, moderate savings at DLH, and greater savings at GCH. It may have helped that I booked pretty early, and it was when full season rates were in effect. Nevertheless, it might be worth comparing view room rates if they are available.

I have never used the AAA Enhanced FastPass (EFP). IMO, the EFP is overrated. We were at DLR during August high season and got more regulars FPs that we could use. On most nights we were giving FPs away. About the only value I can see to EFP is if you are someone who gets to the park late (like 2-4 hours after opening). Then it can help. If you get to the park at or near opening, you most likely can get FPs for everything you need, and then some. If the cost is not an issue, then go ahead and get EFP. But if cost is an issue, I think they are overrated.

It is kind of hard to explain in a short response, but the EFP essentially treats all FP rides as if they are disconnected from each other, so that when you get a FP for one it does not block you from getting one for another FP ride as the regular FP system does. I am sure the above post has the answer, but it looks just like a regular FP, except it has AAA exlusive Fast pass or something like that written at the bottom. They still have a return window, and they are good anytime after that the same day, as regular fast passes are. You can also only hold one FP to the same ride. We loved having the extra feature on our trip. It especially comes in handy on those rides like splash and space that usually have quite a wait (like the return time is at 4:00 if you get your FP at 12:00.) That way you are able to still grab FP for other attractions during that four hour period to use in the meantime. Plus, we enjoy staying in a DLR hotel.....I thought it was completely worth it. I don't want to have to clock out every hour of my trip based upon the popularity of rides and I think this just offers a high level of flexibility.
