AAA Discount on ASMu suites?

Still trying to decide on a resort, the saga continues...


Just wondering if I can use my AAA room only discount on one of the suites at All Star Music?

We have an ASMu suite booked for May 17th-24th. It saved us $250 for the week, which made up for the fact that we didn't need the free MYW ticket upgrade.

I have a ASMu suite booked for a week in August at a AAA rate. I think with tax it was about $165/nt.

that's annoying! i just asked a cm to price out a family suite for me in august, and was told that AAA discount was not applicable to the suites. guess i better call back and talk to anohter cm!

Or call your AAA travel agent and let them work it out for you.

I have a friend who is a AAA travel agent and she is the only reason I am using AAA. I usually just book directly myself.

But she is a great TA and I am glad I am using her. The AAA perks are nice (story time, preferred parking area, free character photo at Epcot).

One thing to keep in mind -- The numbers of ANY level of room at ANY resort with the AAA discount are limited by dates.

So ... you may be told "no" if the AAA discounted rooms are gone for your dates... at the room type you wanted.. at the resort you ask for..

our last trip we booked a year in advance and were unable to apply the discount at the time of booking. Right when the next year rates were released (in the summer) we had to call and apply our AAA discount. They only block out a certain numbers of rooms available for the AAA discount and you have to get em while they're hot! If you've already been booked and your trip is close they AAA discount is probably not applicable anymore

Keep in mind when getting the perks like dlstc mentions, those are part of a package. (Not Room Only) I agree though, those are nice perks. The diamond parking is great alone.

I've checked several times for AAA discount on a suite, but each time I called it is not available for our Aug. trip. I'll probably try again around the 45 day out mark (just in case some have let it go), but don't expect that they'll be available. We have 2 rooms reserved with AAA at the moment.
