I would characterize it as normal...I’m not sure what it was like earlier today though. I had a tough time getting a dinner reservation for Beaches and Cream, and Be Our Guest was a little tricky, but I at least found something.
This was for the week after New Years.

Reservations are back to how they were before the bonanza, so it was obviously some kind of glitch. I just hope if they take back our new ones that they restore what we had. I let a lot of reservations go when I made the new ones.

I was just able to make reservations through the app. When the pop up box directed me to the Disney World website, I just dismissed it every time and I was able to get most of the reservations I wanted with confirmation numbers and emails. We’ll see!

I‘m a little concerned that this many reservations suddenly available means that restaurant capacity has been increased. If that’s the case, we might cancel the reservations, save the money, and eat where I’m not going to worry about distancing.

I dont doubt it, but I am sure many people cancelled old reservations once they got new ones this morning. Are those people just out of luck now? We scored a couple of really great reservations but luckily I didnt have anything to cancel.

I'll be especially upset if they pull my new ADRs, because I gave up others I had before this in order to get the better days/times I wanted.

I know which site you're speaking of. But they are saying Disney "released a statement". I'd like to see where the statement was released - was it only to them? I asked on their blog and have not received an answer.

The article states "Walt Disney World has released a statement clarifying that they have NOT increased capacity at their table service restaurants." But they do not provide a link to that statement.

I've just seen the one person who has called (and was told by a supervisor if you have a confirmation, you are fine). I'm dying to call to see if we can get the same answer twice (would make me feel better) but I'm stuck at work where I can't call.

It's not unusual for major bloggers like them to receive a statement to an inquiry that is not for public transmission. I happen to believe them, but that's just me.

Well then how do you think Disney will handle this mess they made then? Just cancel resevertions ? I had ones before and I changed my times today
