A PTR for Princesses of all ages...2 days to go.. will I ever be ready??

Well time is flying by ... we are at 40 days!!!!! today I did a little shopping for the goodie box to be sent along to Disney before we go....

I purchased....
3 boxes Kashi granola bars
3 packages (multi packs) of gum
shampoo
conditioner
band-aids
razors
baggies

also...

a couple of fat pens for autograph signing
some cheap rain ponchos for the water rides
some Tinkerbell stickers.... you never know when someone will need a sticker!!!!

still have not finished my mousekeeping envelopes....

So as some of you know we have a quick trip to Myrtle Beach that came up. DS made the varisty baseball team - much to our surprise as he is only a sophomore... and the team goes to Myrtle to play in a tournament over Easter break... so we are headed south....The unplanned trip to Myrtle Beach has my attention this week. We are going to try and save some money since this was an unplanned expense. We will be bringing along groceries since the condo has a kitchen... that way we can have breakfast and lunch in the condo (or pack a lunch to take to the ball field) and then go out to dinner... might even just order pizza one night or get takeout a couple of nights.... We did really well on the condo... after staying at Disney so much I was worried about the cost... get this.. we got a one bedroom condo, on the beach, sleeps 6, has a kitchen... the property has 7 pools... and all this for just under $500 for Sunday to Saturday!!! I was pretty excited about that....We do have the added expense of driving there - 15 hours..... so there is fuel expense... but we are going to stop in Virgina overnight with DH brothers family... so that will be nice....

When we get back it will be totally Disney planning..... hoping that our ME documents arrive soon....

hey there! I have 34 days left and I can't wait! i absoulty love myrtle beach! its such a fun place to visit! I just got my ME documents so you should be getting yours anyday now! my df is out of town this week and got bumped so we get an extra trip to disney in JULY Woo hoo!

34 days.... lucky you.... any suggestions for Myrtle Beach??? we have never been there before... an extra trip in July... wow you are lucky... my DS and her husband just bought another 160 DVC points... puts them over 300... they are going in October and want me to come down... maybe I will...

Everything down there is good, i would def walk around broadway at the beach if you want to window shop or regular shop! tons of very good restaurants! I totally have add onitis, but i don't think we will soon...we are cancelling our jan trip because DF had just realized how busy we are goin to be getting ready for the wedding. yeah the only reason we are goin in july is because of his travel voucher!

my sister and her husband just bought another 160 DVC points at SSR for $67 a point... they are so excited... that brings them over 300 points... they try and go 3 times a year... and I usually get to go with them for one trip...yeah!!!!.. they are staying at OKW the first week of May...they want to try for a tree house next April....

Just catching up on my PTR and TR reading. Lucky you - get an extra trip to somewhere warm, get to shop for new clothes...I've always wanted to go to Myrtle Beach or Hilton Head. Someday - I have to squeeze it in between my Disney trips!

Your clothes purchases look really cute! Congrats on such a major weight loss. I hope you're doing well. I've really enjoyed reading your reports.
Back to mousekeeping tips - we are a family of four, but make a mess like a family of 6! Just kidding. We used a hamper for our clothes, and piled or hung our towels. We tipped $5 a day. Left a bit more at the end, since she was so nice about towel animals, even using our kids' stuffed Mickey/Minnie and DH's baseball hat and shades.

I am nervous about going... I know what to expect with Disney... not so much Myrtle... you know.. all of us Dissers are vacation planning freaks... we like to KNOW what we are doing... I am so out of my element on this one

38 days..... this morning I realized that many of the things I am packing in my Disney box I need for my Myrtle Beach trip next week... so now I have two boxes going...side by side on the guest room bed.... today is get the stuff packed day for Myrtle.... or at least started.... I am going to make lists.... I am the queen of making lists. I have them all over the house... stick them on the mirror, on the frig, on the computer, in my purse, you name it... give them to my DH but he just throws them out... says if he can't remember what was on the list them it wasn't that important.... MEN....

so in the box for Myrtle is shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, lotion, band-aids, ace bandage for DS, clorox wipes, razors, dish towels, sponges, dish soap (we are staying in a condo with a kitchen), toothpaste, and medicine.... thats it for now...

With regards to Disney trip... thats why I am here after all.... we still have not received our ME documents... I am hoping they arrive before we leave... oh that reminds me to put get the mail on the list for our house sitter next week( told you I like lists)....

I'm with you, LOVE lists, if I could only get everything done on all of them!!! So I wouldn't have so many....and if you're like me, you always have one or two things that always carry over and never get done? I try!!!! We leave on Saturday... so 3 days.... the weather isn't looking like beach weather though... high 60's low 70's..... its better than the snow we have here... yes it has been snowing for 2 days!!!!

I know... and it will be better than being home...plus I love watching DS play baseball.. and My nephew, his wife and 2 year old little girl are coming to stay with us... that will be so much fun... we don't get to see them much because the live in NC... and before that they lived overseas (he is in the Air Force)
