y DH and nephew are planning on playing golf...but the not mini golf... I thought we would take little Emma to the aquarium and then to Broadway on the Beach... from what I have seen that looks like fun...

The weather isn't looking like beach weather for you all. Really windy--it was 29 degrees here last night and being inland, we're a little warmer than the beach. It should be 75 on Friday, but it's supposed to rain Monday. . .I hope they are off with the weather. Wouldn't be the first time.

We are planning a day trip to NMyrtle Beach next week.

I have been watching the weather and am not encouraged at all... hoping they are wrong... but then again its only in the 30's here so even 60's is better... as long as it doesn't rain... here is what accuweather says..

Try going to www.scnow.com. That's the local forecast. Looks like highs are in the 70s tomorrow snd Sat. Mid to high 60s for next week. Yesterday was much warmer than they predicted, btw.

Our ME DOCUMENTS ARRIVED!!!! YEAH... they are finally here... now I know we are getting close... the usually send two luggage tags per person but we only got one... thats okay... I am going to try and fit all my stuff into a carry on anyway... that way I don't have to pay the $15 each way for luggage that Airtran charges.....

Just found this PTR through another PTR. I got my ME papers in March and it only had one tag for our luggage. We are flying SWA and they do allow two suitcases I will have to call them and find out what to do. Great PTR I also love lists there is too much to remember. My son who is at Disney College wants me to bring some stuff down for him so I really need a list.

We are going to try and put as much into carry ons as possible so we can limit what we have to pay for luggage!!! Airtran charges $15 each way... for our party thats $150 extra for luggage... $30 each... that is crazy....

When we went to Florida in November to see me my son we had to fly out of Boston. I had all my suitcases packed two days early and ready to go. We got to the airport and as we were going thru security and my DH got separated from us people they're all in a hurry to go nowhere. As my DS and I were in line I was trying to fiqure out what the hold up was. The security guard yells who bag is this my DH who is now on the other side says mine. Well I packed in our carry on lotion, shampoo, mouthwash ect... all in large bottles so the security guard starts to throw away the large bottles and I say stop I will check my bag in which did cost me a extra 20.00 dollars. I just forgot about the small amounts you can bring in your carry on. Trying to make sure mail stopped, pets at kennel ect.... it just went out of my head .

OMG... I cling onto everyone going thru security... Last time my son pretty much had to take off half of his stuff... he kept making the buzzer go off... all he had on were jeans and a American Eagel hoodie and t-shirts... and sneakers..????????
I send a box ahead... we pretty much send shampoo, conditioner, snacks, etc.... then they are gone by the end of the week... works out well for us....

Thanks... we have arrived.... dropped DS off at the team house ... its amazing...got checked into our condo... its nice... did a little grocery shopping, had dinner and now am watching golf and looking at ocean... the weather is nice.. a little windy....but around 70.... now we are just waiting for DNephew and DNiece and their little one to get here... thinking I might head to the hot tub for a while... Happy Easter!!!!

Well we are back from Myrtle Beach.... the baseball tournament was fun although our team didn't have a lot of success. We played some teams from much larger schools, even the West Virginia state champions... it basically turned out to be batting practice for the other teams...... but the boys had fun... and they came together as a team... which was the most important aspect of the trip... seems that the teams we were playing were just heading into playoffs... we had only played one game so far!!!! Gotta love living in Central NY where you have snow into April!!!

We were able to spend some time with my nephew, his wife and their two year old.... boy I forgot how much energy little ones have... it was great though... they spent Sunday thru Friday with us... now we won't see them again until November....

The good news is our trip is GETTING CLOSER!!! Now that all our ME documents have arrived it seems like it is real.... my goal is this weekend to get the box ready to be shiped to POR... that mans going out and buying some of the food I want to go...

so far I have the shampoo, conditioner, body wash, razors, gum, stickers, rain ponchos.... now I need granola bars, cereal, oatmeal, packets to add to water bottles. Oh and I need to order the water from Costco... did that in January and boy did it save a ton of money. It was about $7 to have it shipped to the hotel for a case of water. Thats like 30 cents a bottle... much better than the $2 in the park.....

I am also going to try and finish my mousekeeping envelopes... I have been really slacking in this department... ... I am normally right on top of this... work is crazy busy right now... thats a good thing when you work on commission....but I have had to give up some things... like a lot of my volunteer time at the school....

We have another short trip coming up May 1 & 2. I am chaperoning an overnight trip with the band to Hershey Park in PA. Its a leave Friday morning at 8 am back Saturday night at 11pm.... two full days.... should be fun... the kids are great... DH is a little annoyed that DS will be missing a baseball game.. but he commited to this trip before hand....

well folks... time to make the donuts... I mean do some work... hope you all have a great day...

Glad to hear you had a good time! Speaking of making mousekeeping envelopes....I'd like to do this for our upcoming trip. I've only stayed in Marriott villas lately, so there's been no housekeeping for us. What do you do to make your envelopes??

Glad you had a nice time at the Beach! Was it beach like weather? I know you had some weather concerns beforehand?

And wow, now onto Hershey park! Boy you're a busy girl!!!! Have a wonderful time!! That's a fun park, when we lived in PA we did a day trp there and it was fun and it smelled like Chocolate....yum!!!
