I'm doing good. Had Christmas dinner with my family and it was nice.

I am ready to leave tomorrow to SoCal and be back at the DLR to brave the crowds this weekend.

How did they handle the short? It is pretty much only visible in 3D or so I thought. We saw that at the Expo and then again on a WD Studios tour. We saw it again when we saw Frozen and we saw it in 3D so I wondered how they would handle it in 2D showings.

BTW the only word that they couldn't find for Mickey to say from Walt's voice was "red".

Hmmm....I assume you mean when they were moving between the 'old' and 'our' side. It was very well done between the B&W and colour scenes. I expect it would have been better in 3D.

We went to see a 10.15 am show. We waited and waited and waited and nothing happened. And then at 10.45 am, someone came in to say they were having technical problems. They apologised and started handing out free tickets. One to replace the ticket we had bought; and one extra for the inconvenience. We headed out and got in line to get tickets for the 11.45 am show. We still have the "sorry for the inconvenience ticket" to go. We were planning on seeing The Hobbit II with that.



But I wonder if I can convince DS to go see Frozen again with me in 3D??

I did see the short in 2D and I thought it was good. I really need to see Frozen and short in 3D.

I believe DS will want to see Frozen again in 3D after seeing it in 2D.

I didn't even think the "Get a Horse" would work in 2D. When we saw it at the Expo they told us that it was a 1928 film, but it had stereoscopic effects so we needed the 3D glasses. I totally forgot it was going to play before Frozen and my mom gets a headache from 3D, but both my parents read in the review that 3D was the only way to see it, so we did. It was great!

Christmas was great. Relatively stress-free with only one or two family issues. One of the best ones we've had a for while.

I wouldn't normally go during that time which is insane crowds (unless I go on New Years Eve) but my aunt friends are coming from Texas tomorrow and we will picking them up at LAX. This is the only time they were off and want to visit the DLR. So we will be brave the heavy crowds this weekend which will be every crazy.
