Inspired idea! As they were walking around campus they saw someone else do it. Keep in mind this was a day with temps in the low 60s for the high. She was very brave to do this.

To be fair Connor was a free-loader at Danielle's age too, well except for Mother's Day because I refuse to do much more than wake up on Mother's Day once they're toilet trainedI've earned my pampering on at least 1 day a year

I'm right there with you! Currently trying to lose my muffin top but it is not easy. I miss the days when I could eat whatever I wanted and still be a skinny mini. Unfortunately the investment I've made in the food industry this last 2 decades in visible in my muffin top. chubby cheeks and double chin!

You and me both. It's not fair how much our metabolism slows down.

Do what I did and send to live in a house with a toddler for 8 months. She'll be so glad to have some calm and quiet on her return she'll do whatever it takes to be allowed to stay! Just kidding

We have been trying to get her to live with Michelle in her Mother-in-law suite since she bought her current house.

Awesome! We are all fully vaccinated next Thursday, just two days before we leave for our trip! Will be much more comfortable boarding that plane now.

Yay for getting a DHS reservation! I finally got used to having to scramble to get dining reservations booked, never thought we'd have to play these games to get into a park

It wasn't this hard getting into parks on our last trip.

This Spring the azaleas were outstanding. I don't remember them blooming the beautiful any time in the recent few years. I wonder if our little ice storm helped. The pink was were the most beautiful. Here are a few pictures from the main street in our neighborhood. I took them while I was doing my walk.

Just gorgeous! We have loads of Azaleas too, but our varieties are smaller. My favorite colors are the tropical sunset ones with blushes and corals, and the fucshia colored ones. So pretty!

Two weeks from today we will be in Disney!

LOL!! That's how far behind I am, and I'm so sad we JUST missed each other!

This will be a pretty lose and laid back trip.

I'm going to try to put up an update from Danielle's DCP drop off this weekend

I got the Peter Pan Float.

I have a not-so-secret love affair with these.

I'm excited to see it in 2 weeks. I've seen some pictures of some of the sprucing up of the paint they have done to get ready for the 50th.

It looks really lovely. I didn't take any photos, but I think Kari did. I'll get them from her and post them on my thread.

Yesterday 2 positive things happened. First Disney opened up some more park reservations so I was able to snag a
DHS reservation for all of us on Monday the 3rd

Awesome!! So glad that little piece of pixie dust worked out!

Our Governor also lifted the mask mandate here for most locations and the CDC put out new recommendations for fully vaccinated people. These are all positive. Hopefully those going to Disney will benefit from all the new recommendations in the future.

I am seeing SO many positive signs of things really turning the tide. I also see some lingering lunacy, but hopefully that will all fade away and common sense can once again be restored.

Oh my gosh, I just saw that and thought of you!! You'll have to let us know what Danielle decides to do. My niece was supposed to do fall 2020 and is going to reapply as well, but she doesn't want to go until fall 2022 - I hope they get a choice. She's heading into senior year, and doesn't want to do the program until she graduates. Fingers crossed that all these kids get to live this dream!
