For those who want one IRL I do know it's available. I'm pretty sure the teenage girls and my DH have me on ignore pretty much all the time.

One has to look at each aspect in life [ news , events , objects, humans etc ] with positive view point and negative view point . Both view points are correct and there is nothing wrong . This will help one to build balance in thought process . Today human beings are within an environment that is random in nature , but at fundamental level our desire is for peace , calmness and steadiness . so each one of us face the forces of randomeness on daily basis but the key here is to use the random forces to achieve steadyness is where one gets peace of mind.

This post was a way to offer folks a relief from negativity.

It was not pointed at anyone.

Thank you for the support. I didn't think I took potshots at anybody in that monster thread and for the most part the discussion seemed fine to me, except for the pie versus cake people. They should be banned forever. LOL

I know this, it certainly isn't a popular thing to take the opposing view of the podcast team. Those podpeople are dearly loved.

Being "dearly loved" doesnt mean that we are always right.

Opposing opinions are welcome. Thats what makes a good discussion.

There is a difference between having a different opinion and always being negative.

I'm suggesting that folks dont have to deal with negativity.

I'm talking about being incessantly negative.

I'm tired of it. My emails tell me others are tired of it. The number of posts on the boards tell me people are tired of it.

I'm suggesting that if you do not want to deal with the negativity, to use the IGNORE button.

They thrive on any kind of attention they can muster up.

I've got too much going on in life to deal with useless negativity. I sometimes find it difficult to carve out time for things I really want to do.

Thanks for the clarification. I stopped going to the community board for that exact reason. I'll admit that I don't read as many threads as most here, so I didn't know that there was that much negativity. Anyone can answer this. What is a troll?
