We like EOS, but not the kids. The kid options are not great. The line is always long!!
So excited about Legoland. I wish they had it about 5 years ago.
Was the family pic in your avatar, taken by a Disney photographer? I meant to ask you that when you had it in your TR but forgot.
We're okay with EOS, but I think next time we will go to Wolfgang's. If we have enough time.
Legoland - I had just recently heard about it too. They did a review on the DIS unplugged podcast not that long ago. I think there are pictures etc. up on the site too. Your son would go nuts! I think it would be fun to surprise him with it! It's really easy and quick to rent a car from over at the Swan/Dolphin too!
Now I remember us talking about EOS!!!! I'm not sure if I want to blame my age or my hair color.
I liked EOS fine, but I've never been blown away by it. I like the local Panera or Atlanta Bread co just as well I think.
Sorry your son had melty PB. I know he thought it was gross. Your sandwich might have been better as a salad.
Well, at least you know now that you don't have to go back to that restaurant anymore. It just isn't your cup of tea! At least the smoothie was good!!
Looking forward to hearing about your dismeet.

EOS is just OK with me, my wife and sons like it a lot. To me, it is just nice to have something different than same old quick service park food. I am looking forward though to having Pollo Campero in June!

I love the idea that you will surprise your DS with a trip to LegoLand.
I have read nothing but good reviews about Eos sometimes I think the sandwiches sound and look good and other times not so much but I always thought I would like to try eating there one day, but on second thought there is so much to choose from in DTD maybe especially now that they added so many new restaurants in DTD to the DP plus with the long waits at EOS I will pass on it. Sorry they had nothing DS12 liked
I wondered also about your new pic, it came out really good, I have never tried using the timer on a camera.
On a side note, I have been researching renting a car this trip and if you do stay at BC I know you can rent a car at the Dolphin from Alamo, their rates do not seem to bad plus there are various discounts at any given time.
Yeah, I don't think EOS has a whole lot of kid friendly food!
No, that pic is with my camera. It has a button to set a little timer (like 10 seconds maybe) and it shoots automatically. I had wanted to do a family photo shoot at the Poly since we were staying there and we hadn't had a professional family pic since like 2006! But then I looked at the prices. It was a crazy price and it was for only 20 minutes!! So I packed us all some decent clothes anyway and on our last night at the Poly we went out and did our very own photo shoot!! And it went surprisingly well!
We got some really nice photos. I can post them when I get to that day if anyone wants to see them!
Good to see you here!!I have been wondering where you have been. I figured you were still overwhelemed after vacation. Either that or depressed!!
Thanks, glad you enjoyed all the pics!
A few trips back I bought the Four Parks One World CD set, but honestly I listen to the Wishes CD more!Once in awhile I get out the 4 parks CD's and I randomly play a song and we play "Name that Disney tune"! The kids always beat DH!!
You are right - Jodi needs a do-over and it should involve a Dole Whip and the Poly!
A little of both to be honest! Thankfully it's more of being overwhelmed with getting back into the swing of daily life than depressed and missing Disney. For now...![]()
Wow!!! That's awesome. You have a great camera, cuz I thought it was a photographer. I wanted to do the family pic too but I thought the same thing way too much $$$$.
I did take a pic of the boys on a hammock on the beach for our Christmas card.

EOS- You know how I feel about the melty PB.
We looked into taking the kids to LegoLand this past trip but the added drive, time away from Disney, and extra cost kept us from doing it. Perhaps the next trip!DS was happy enough in the Lego store this trip.
A little of both to be honest! Thankfully it's more of being overwhelmed with getting back into the swing of daily life than depressed and missing Disney. For now...![]()
I really hate that you didn't like EoS again. We haven't eaten there yet, but I have only heard good things about it. Maybe it's one of those places that you just haven't ordered the right thing yet.I know we eat at a few places here at home where I like a certain thing on the menu and that's what I always get. I know you hate to keep spending money 'experimenting' though. I've really been wanting to try it out for years now, but I guess I need to find out what the most popular sandwich is and stick with that.
There must be something good there for it to always be busy though. We always end up at WPE when we are there and have loved it every time. And it's such a good value on the DDP. Maybe if we ever go without the DDP, we'll give EoS a try since it's so cheap.
Love the towel animals ! How funny.
How cool that you got to meet up with a fellow Dis'er !
Looked like a nice visit. Did you guys know each other before or did you meet on the Dis? Was this the first time you met each other? It's always nice when your kids get along with friend's kids.
I hated it when all the tables at the pool were taken. I swear you need to be there by 8am!!
