I have a client sailing the Dream on Sept 1. She got the 10th deck too. I'll let ya know her feedback Lainey.

My co-worker and boss just got back from the Disney Dream fam. They liked it but said everything wasn't fully operational yet and service was slow. Did you think that Mary?

Karen, how did you get your job at the Disney store if you don't mind me asking? Did you see it online or in a paper or did you just go in and ask if they were hiring? I'm looking for a PT job a couple nights a week and that would be perfect for me! I'm just wondering how you went about it.

i was just in there shopping one day and decided to ask. i sent in a resume the next day, but didnt hear anything back for about two months. eventually i got a call and got a christmas temp job, which got made permanent
you'd enjoy it, its hard work but good fun

I've never been to DL so I'm super excited!

I've been good. Work is keeping me busy, it's starting to pick up. Kris and I are doing well. It'll be a year for us the end of this month. I can't believe it's been nearly a year already. We're going to the Poconos to celebrate. How is everything with you?

cant believe its been a year too! are you guys still off to green bay in september?

things are ok here, i've got an interview on monday for a promotion at work, unfortunately it means i have to move stores though so thats the only thing thats stopping me from being really excited about it

Kris is waiting until the schedule is announced for next football season to decide when we'll be going to Green Bay. I'm not sure when we'll be going but I'm thinking September or Oct. It gets super cold there & I don't want to go in the winter!

I'm hoping we'll be in Disney World for a few nights in Dec. There's a contest at work and the grand prize is a 3 night trip to WDW, all expenses paid. You can pick when you want to go and they'll give you the best hotel they have available. I've never been there when everything is done up for the holidays and I would love to go. Fingers crossed!

karen, good luck! Where would you be transferred to? Would it be a longer commute?

great news today, i got the promotion!! i start 1st may, so got a little while longer in my store which is great because i really like it there. so i am now senior cast member, its the first step up the disney ladder
oh and the commute is about 20 minutes longer, but i havent really got any choice, i have to move stores to be able to get promoted

Jen have fun in Disneyland i know you leave this week.
I'm so happy Greg and i are gonna get to eat at CRT on our Anniversary and at Le Cellier for lunch the day before the cruise and then on Sunday get to eat with KAREN AND GARY!!1 THIS TRIP IS GONNA BE GREAT!!! (a little sad though since we wont get to see all of our Table Mates ) We will be thinking of y'all im sure greg will have a goombay for yall

we ate at CRT on our anniversary the last two times - its good food, first time was better than the seond though. plus greg will be happy because he'll get a sword!
