9/24/09 3 Day Wonder - Cruise Meets, and FEs, and Goombays oh my!

thank you karen we may do that it depends on our flight back home the day we come back.
Jen you are following me we are shooting for le cellier the night before the cruise also but i am shooting for 5pm maybe 5:30 i can go earlier but no earlier than 3pm that is too close to lunch that will be one of the few days where we are eating 3 meals tyically we have lunch and dinner but skip breakfast but for whispering canyon i will get up early for breakfast.
CRT and the brown derby are the first on my list then le cellier and rainforest cafe @ ak.
Karen your camera sounds great i havent gotten on FB but i will in a minute and see what it looks like.

I saw this afternoon in the Orlando News that they are closing Stitch's Supersonic Adventure. Didn't Mikkel's fiance have something to do with that attraction? Just from cruising posts on the DisBoards, it doesn't seem like there is a lot of love for Stitch. I do agree that Alien Encounter was more fun than Stitch's Great Escape...but I don't hate it....I just prefer Alien Encounter. Although I can see going with a more kid friendly version of it was probably a good idea to have it more appealing for families.

I saw that about the Stitch show too. I'm not a fan of the ride but Stitch is kind of funny. It's too bad about the show.

we love the ride and hope to be able to see the show in some form or other.
donna, you're right, jason was on the creative team for that show, btw: just to let you know they called off the wedding, thats why they're not coming on the cruise now. feel sorry for them but i'm sure they had their reasons.

i'm enjoying a night to myself, gary's gone up to glasgow with the dog to see his parents, he's back on sunday, so i've got the house to myself
i'm supposed to be going bowling with some people from work tomorrow night, then off down to bournemouth on friday to see my friend

It's great to the house to yourself every once in awhile! I would love that! We have a full house, my brother lives with us, and Kelly and my stepson Allen...so five adults in one house...there is always something going on. My brother has poker parties with his friends during the summer, when they can play on our deck. Allen has his girlfriend over all the time, and Kelly has her friends over often too. Top that off with my nieces and nephews (all in their 20's)all live about a mile away. I joke about installing a revolving door. But, ya know I probably wouldn't really want it any other way...I love friends and family.

Too bad about Mikkel and Jason, I knew that they had switched the date once already. I hope things work out for them in the long run. I have a lot of friends that learned the hard way that a wedding is very different from a marriage, and that you have to remember to take time for each other. LOL, I sound like Dr. Phil,

It's just me and my DBF Jeanne here are work right now....we have about an hour left and we are going to see Up at the Muvico down the street. I can't wait to get out of here!

Karen, did I tell you we got the material for your FE...Tinkerbell with a blue background....it's cute!

That's too bad about Mikkel, everything she did for the wedding looked so nice! Hopefully things will work themselves out!

donna, i know what you mean about the full house. I still technically live at home but mum and dad live in spain for 8 months a year. But up until last year my brother was still at home too, so at certain points of the year there was 5 of us here too. It did get crowded. Don't get me wrong, i love my brother but i wanted to move out when he was living here. But now its cool, me and gary live alone most of the year. By the way thanks again to you and bob for making me a new fish extender, you're too kind. Just let me know how much i owe you and i can paypal you some money.

hey guys sorry i havent been on all day greg and i went to my grandmothers cabin today just for the day and she doesnt have a computer up there. I have to work 2morrow Jen i hope you are ok. and i hope everything will work out whatever it may be.
I am already calling yall my friends to my family members and of course you know that greg calls yall "my Girls" LOL
it looks like greg and i will be getting a cat very soon a stray cat at my stepdads work had kittens awhile ago and we are gonna adopt one.

Yep, I was at the Muvico in Rosemont. It was the first time I've been there...it was really nice! We had dinner at Bogarts in the theatre....they had fancy Mac n Cheese made with Gouda, it was wonderful. The auditoriums were really nice, the seats were very comfy. When we left we saw they had a really big video center, with couches and Nintendo Wii, other games and an internet cafe. I was impressed....don't know that I would go again, because Kelly manages a Kerasotes movie theater and I get in free there, so why pay....even with all the fancy stuff, I like free better.
