Lisa had a contact (i know who it is though;) ) who had gotten them for us last year.

I found these though and kinda like them better even though they aren't dated. People seemed to like these when i brought it up last time.

I lke this too....:goodvibes

We did this with lanyards once before and it worked great. The person heading up the task weight everything and figured what postage would be. The people buying the lanyard send an envelope with payment and return postage and a label inside. The person heading up the task put the label and new postage on and then shipped it back.

Summer is not too bad for me so if no one has offered to head this up, I'm willing (as long as I don't need to do anything until the end of Feburary :lmao: ).

Tracy

And you just said this was a first time you were not so involved in a thread!!!:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :goodvibes :goodvibes :flower3:

Hi Cheryl! Maybe if Tracy decides to take on the wristband project, you and I (& John if he wants) could take a road trip up North to help her out one day...

Pamela

Anyone in interested in sharing packing lists? Can we send attachments through the PM on the boards?

I'm a very, very light packer. But, I've never done 15 nights and I've never known so many people before going on a vacation. Never done the fish extender, etc, etc.

Packing lists.... if in word or excel, could post to the website....

Hi,

Packing lists - I have a site bookmarked: www.cruisediva.com - she has a lot of tips/packing lists.

I too pack light - last Aug. I went to Paris before the cruise - 18 days and only 1 suitcase & 1 carry-on. I did laundry once ( of course it was only me not the whole family!) But I did mix & match rather than lots of different outfilts.

I guess I might be OC also - I had a list of what to wear each evening along with what jewelry went w/what - kept the list in the dest drawer!!

Howdy Crew - been real busy planning our camping trip. Had time for a little ketchup today...

I know I have posted the script here before , but I dont know if Tom Posted it to the website or not ....If not here it is for your reading pleasure

This is great! What a hoot. I'll be there for sure.

You can take puppies at 6 weeks but the foster parents want to keep the puppies with mom for 2 more weeks. We can wait, well Cherie and I can, the girls are bouncing off the wall.

Not a good idea at 6-weeks. At 6-weeks they are still imprinting on their litter - that is learning what "dog" is. Pups who have been taken from the litter at 6-weeks never really get how to interact with other dogs. Between 7- and 8-weeks is ideal as that is when they imprint on humans.

Now, is a great time to write, sign, and post the family "contract" about the puppy. That is, what are the "dog rules"? On the furniture, or off? On the bed or off? In the dining room during dinner, or crated? Rough housing in the house, or not? Where does it sleep? Who cares for it? etc. These are all things I strongly encourage my puppy buyers to discuss, WRITE DOWN (and sign), and post on the fridge. That way, when the rules start to be bent or broken (and they will) - you can remind youreselves of what you agreed to.

you know Jack , He loves the Wenches ....LOL

Maybe we need to make some secret shirts that say "I know Jack " (for the wenches)...LOL

Alright then Capt'n. I'll be needin' artwork for that. :rolleyes1

Terri that would be great. When we get a premium account you can upload images up to 5mb which is pretty big. Anyone can then right click and save an image to your own computer for printing. I think your idea of a CD sounds great too. I am sure with all of the artistic people that we have around here there will be several TOAL Documentary CD's.

What? No TOAL, The Documentary DVDs??? :rotfl:

This sounds like great idea. What about incorporating the cost into the t-shirt price. An extra $0.25 per shirt won't hurt anyone and we'll all benefit in the end with great photos.

Easy to add an item to the store front for this, and get the $$, and a list of buyers, to you. That way, the only folks signing up for the site are the ones who want it. Let me know.

There are several online sources for the wristbands. The pricing seems to run from about $0.65 each for plain ones to around $1.00 or a little over for text engraved into them (plus shipping of course). A couple of the websites are http://www.reminderband.com/products/index.php and http://www.shanrene.com/custom-wristbands.php but there are many more out there. Shipping them to everyone - even just sending them via the mail in an envelope - would probably cost a couple dollars each, a 6x9 envelope costs about 10 cents each.

I guess one concern is that we already are doing the t-****s and ordering/paying/shipping/etc. Is doing another thing of this nature just too much? It would probably work OK if it were done along with the t-**** but that is already a huge job and this shouldn't be added to it.

Like the photobucket thing - we could easily add this in to the storefront as an item. If you order them, and have them shipped for deliver to me by Jun 30, I'm happy to toss them into the correct boxes. It'd be easy. Especially with all the crew mates who are going to come out an help!

Let me know if you want to do it this way.

One thing to think about - do they have child sizes? When I ordered these for the boys (with our cell phone numbers on them) I made sure to get child sizes. The adult size ones simply fall off their little wrists.

Here is just a thought.....we could each send a self addressed stamped envelope (I'm thinking a manila envelope folded up inside of a letter-size envelope) along with our payment for these bracelets to whoever is heading this Task Force. That way he or she only has to pop the bracelets back into the envelope and mail them back.

Or we could do this. :confused3

Even pirates can be lawyers - who knew?? :confused3
:rotfl:

Crew - I'm going to be spending more time offline planning our 5-week camping trip. I know how much you enjoy the Pirate Joke of the Day. If someone who's going to be a bit more regular wants to take over from me - please PM me. I feel bad about missing it some days.

Arrrgghhh . . . that joke is just harrrible! :lmao: (However, I know a few that are closer to pirate than to lawyer. :thumbsup2 )

I decided it would be too much of a hassle to try to collect for the Photobucket acct. I will pay for it myself and then it will be done with.
Since it is $25.00 per year do you want me to get it now or wait til say, June so we will have it longer?
I guess we can put the login and password on the pirate website so only people registered can access. Anyone have a better idea? Any thoughts?
