What sort of room request do people do for Studio Resort View rooms? This is my first BLT stay, just a couple nights early/mid Sept (caught it when they had that sudden drop of rooms recently). It looks like all these rooms are on the the first 4 floors.

I’m not DVC so viewing the fireworks from the BLT Lounge is out for me. I think I read somewhere you can see the fireworks from the hallways and there is even seating near the windows on each floor, can anyone confirm that?

IMO the best place to watch the fireworks is on the bridge between BLT and contemp (4th or 5th floor). The music is piped in and it is not crowded.

Resort view rooms, there aren't many, and they are all low, but I like to request not first floor, so we get a little view of something.

If "resort view" is a new term for "standard view", you will be on floor 5 or below. There are 2 north facing rooms on each of floors 4 and 5.
On floor 3 there are 2 interior facing, 2 north facing, and 2 parking lot facing.
On Floor 2 there are 2 interior, 1 north, 1 parking lot, and 1 south.

Most people would ask for a north facing or parking lot facing room, where you have a possible sharp angle toward the Magic Kingdom. Others would choose floor 5, to avoid the elevator to be on the same level as the bridge.
With small numbers, your chances of a specific view or floor are pretty low. 7 north facing is best odds, but, everyone will be asking for those.
