Morning Liz and Arlene!

I'll take your version of chilly! :thumbsup2

It's in the 20's, and my car doors were frozen shut this morning. It's mornings like this that I always think of Andy. Bundle up Verandah Man!!!

I remember mornings like that. In fact I can say we did have one here in Fl in the 90s. :thumbsup2 And yes Andy, bundle up out there and watch those knees !!!!

2008 - and yes we are definitely going on this cruise - so it is time to get my act together, and really start posting on this board (I resolve to make the time) and get to know you all before our TOAL in 8 months.

We have booked the GC from the 14th to the 16th - and now we have booked airfare, so the committment has been made   We had a lot of mileage, so we were able to get all 4 airfares for free (well almost free) by transferring some miles. Instead of paying $2,500, it is only costing us around $400 - so that was a great savings that can be used towards the trip.

Now I am able to get excited - even though I will have to work hard for the next 8 months to get ther - when I get there, it will be WELL WORTH IT!

Now I have some reading to catch up on - feeling kind of like a newbie here - but I will catch back up somehow - talk to you all later.

Debi

Airfare has been taken care of since Sept. Now to start making payments towards the trip.

Off to :surfweb:

Debi....I don't want you to miss the boat! Our TOAL is in 7 months! :goodvibes

Thanks Deanna, now I am even more excited - just goes to show you how brain dead I really am...:rotfl: I have a LOT to catch up on - just reading up on the website...

Is there a way to set up an account on like Photobucket where we can all have access to all the photos and are able to download what we want? Where is Crash when I need a question answered? :lmao:

Arlene I thought that we discussed this way back when. Someone would setup a premium account ($25/yr) which could hold 5Gb (50,000photos) and then circulate the the username and password. If we get $1/each from 25 or $0.50/each from 50 would cover the cost. We could then setup directories for each day/event so that they would be somewhat organized.

I must have missed that discussion. I would be willing to set this up (if there isn't someone else already working on it). It would probably be easier than doing our own CDs if the pictures would be a high enough resolution to print. I have never tried to print photos from this type of site.

Terri that would be great. When we get a premium account you can upload images up to 5mb which is pretty big. Anyone can then right click and save an image to your own computer for printing. I think your idea of a CD sounds great too. I am sure with all of the artistic people that we have around here there will be several TOAL Documentary CD's.

Hey and that means I can do this too since I just learned how to RIGHT click on the mac ...

This sounds like great idea. What about incorporating the cost into the t-shirt price. An extra $0.25 per shirt won't hurt anyone and we'll all benefit in the end with great photos.

Made it through this morning OK !!! Most of the meters I had to read today were outside readers, so I only got into a few homes to get warmed up(well, at least for a few seconds, lol).

Hey Mike, any plans about coming across the river and paying that visit to Build-a-Bear Workshop for your DD? If so, let me know........;)

Cheryl, I'm still using the Thera-gesic, it was a big help this morning. I just made the mistake of rubbing it in right after my shower this morning.........

That would be a great idea!!!:yay: We swapped CD's on the last cruise and it it expensive to mail a CD with the special sleeve!!;) Do you think we have to limit CRASH??:confused3

Glad to hear your doing OK in this weather.

The kids all got $10 BAB gift cards in their stockings, so there will definitely be a trip to BAB in their future. I'm hoping that DW can get a Sat off or I can get a Sun off so that we can all go together. I'll let you know and see if we can find a date that works for a mini-meet.

Are you and Hazel still planning on coming into Chicago this spring with Angelina!!!:confused3 :confused3

I got my cordless blender, and at half price on both the blender and shipping thanks to the code Monica posted a while ago. If I can ship it ahead to the port, and ship it home after the cruise, I'll bring it along. Otherwise, it's too big and heavy since it has a rechargable battery. It could make the 2am laundry parties more fun!! (Don't worry Chrissie, I wouldn't really fire up a blender next to somebody's stateroom at 2 am :thumbsup2 )

I miss MR posting here, but I'm sure she wouldn't mind having a back-up blender on deck 7!
