On the crew talent show they did a very good ''mickey'' take of people doing this, and later Chip and Dale, on deck had a leaning tower of Pizza!



On my Palo brunch only Lynn Tarrant is also on the 2008 Repo, she hasn't posted here much, but does read, but on the cruise itself there were many including Julie- Bellinus- she was on the same rotation at Dinner as us, with her three daughters, she is still in Europe, and she was given a love letter by Frabizio in Naples, he is single and after a rich lady from New York, I do not know if she has called him yet!

For those who sent well wishes, thank you. My interview went well, and I have a second interview scheduled for next Wednesday - I'm just not sure that this is the place to jump ship for. It would be almost the same salary as I'm making now, but much more inconvenient to get to & expensive to park or take public transit... Still thinking about it, but I do have limits.

I have no idea how to just get in from here. I am logged in here all the time. Oh there is a chat button up there- that takes us right to it? Well why do people always put links? I thought we had to go by the link and I eventually put the chat room on favorites after hunting down a link a few times. Maybe that's why it makes me log in.

What I can't figure out is how people just make up whatever names they want in chat- I can't do that! It will only let me in with my username here AND password. I can't just go in there willy nilly as any name I want. LOL

Andrew - Thanks for the pics, they were absolutely wonderful! Now I am excited more than ever for our cruise next year. Hoping they are in the Med again or Northern Europe in 2010 for our next cruise.

Andrew-------that ice cream looked sooooooooooo gooooooooood, thanks for the pics, now I might have to run out and get some ice cream for dessert tonight...........

Andrew - Thanks for sharing your pictures. Your trip looks amazing. I wish we could have gone, but my husband only wants to go to Europe when he has a month or more (so it looks like that trip will be years away for us )

I saw pictures and heard stories from friends who went in June. They had issues with flights getting there, but once they were on board the Magic, they had an incredible time. It was great to hear their stories. If you have any stories, favorite places you enjoyed, share them. I am sure we would love to hear them.

Interesting about serving "palo" to the kids in Animators- My kids would probably love that!

If they do med in 2009- we'd probably "try" to go but as expensive as it would be (for the flights/etc.) I'm not sure we'd have enough time from the 2008 cruise to that cruise to save up the money for it!

I really wish we could go on the trans-atlantic cruise that's so cheap right now- at least it would be if it was only DH and myself. (even though I don't like the thought of going on a Disney cruise without the kids- personal choice... no flames please!) It's incredibly cheap now for cat 12 -but the cruise is so long that it would interfere with the beginning of school. My sister would PROBABLY watch the kids for us to go on the cruise but there's no way she could handle them starting school the last few days of our cruise- she doesn't even live in the same town as us! So tempting though.
But my gosh the flight to Barcelona is MORE than the entire 14 day cruise with Disney costs! (and that's really saying something isn't it LOL)

Thank you for all the comments I think everyone who was able to come to the Med had a wonderful time and it exceeded everyones expectations.

I have told my kids about Palo's and they asked the head server if she could arrange for the Chocolate soufflé to be presented Palo's style in Animators and she obliged, then later on afternoon tea my kids looked in we were next to the windows and the server said go to the front door and she gave them a lot of cakes!

Eric got up this am to go to Football and he came and told us that the freezer isn't working, it is warm and the ice cream is melting..

guess we have ice cream for breakfast.. so I am not sure what the problem is but both freezer and frig is too warm. Luckily, I have an old frig in the garage so i moved everything there and thought I'd stop by on my way to look at frig repair sites..
