FIOS is great (as long as you don't mind dismal customer service - incompetent installers, rude phone service, getting hung up on after 20 minutes of hold...)

I was going to skip DSL and go right for FIOS but it is not available yet in my area.

Major echo in here- we were almost on the 2nd page earlier. What in the world?

Wow, when did this happen? I'm bummed.

Guess i haven't lived in a home for over 3 yrs then...

DH still nips at me that our pics are still in boxes...Heck i have about a 1/4of our basement/ground level that still has unpacked boxes.

I hate PACKING. It's unpacking that is fun... new house, get rid of stuff you don't need, everything organized and where it belongs (FOR A LITTLE WHILE!), etc. However, believe it or not this is the first house SINCE WE'VE HAD KIDS that I've even got to the point of putting things on the walls! I'm serious. Our first "home" together I decorated and put things on the walls, pictures, etc. Then along came kids. I'm not blaming them. Just saying that to let you realize HOW LONG it's been (our oldest is 13yrs old). every move since then (a few) the walls have stayed bare and the photos/wall hangings/etc. have stayed in boxes from one house to the other. We've only lived here since last Nov but this time I vowed we wouldn't have bare walls. (and all our walls are not WHITE like they were at previous homes also!) I still don't have tons of things on the walls or near as many pictures as I intend to put up- but atleast all the walls have SOME stuff put up. I'm so proud of myself.

I'm glad you found something that will work, Monica. And when you think about it $20.00 for 2 signatures is nothing for the peace of mind you'll get by knowing this is taken care of. Have a great trip. We expect you to tell us all about it when you get back.

M, I'm sorry you're still in unpacking h*e*double-toothpicks. I always figure on 6 months to really settle into a house - it takes a while to figure out where all the furniture wants to live and how the traffic flows. You'll make it. And in one year & one week, we'll all be getting ready to leave for our TOAL.

Anyone who has good wishes to spare, think good thoughts for me today. I'm going on a job interview that I hope will make things easier for my family.

On the crew talent show they did a very good ''mickey'' take of people doing this, and later Chip and Dale, on deck had a leaning tower of Pizza!

On my Palo brunch only Lynn Tarrant is also on the 2008 Repo, she hasn't posted here much, but does read, but on the cruise itself there were many including Julie- Bellinus- she was on the same rotation at Dinner as us, with her three daughters, she is still in Europe, and she was given a love letter by Frabizio in Naples, he is single and after a rich lady from New York, I do not know if she has called him yet!
