I'm also hopeful for the waitlist, my DS9 and DS7 (to be 11 and 9 at trip) aren't real great eating at 9 pm.

We had late seating on our first cruise, when the kids were 8 and 11, and it worked out okay. The youngest sometimes took a little catnap in the afternoon, and was bright eyed at dinner.

I'm glad that your DD enjoyed her summer in "the Army"

We call those Day Camps as opposed to our overnight camps which are held on our camp grounds. The Day Camps are usually very well run and meant to be affordable. We usually look at these camps as a service to the public and not a way to make money.

Oh my gosh was it reasonable! Here the SA got a matching grant from the Detroit Free Press Children Frist fund. It was $760 for 8 weeks! plus they got to go on field trips too. Our local YMCA charges $190 a week for thier summer camp! And you have to pay extra for field trips! The latch key in our school district is run by the YMCA. The Y makes me mad some because they get funding from United Way, so you would think that they wouldn't be that costly.

We don't get back off holidays in WDW until 04-Sept and I have jet-lag REALLY bad so I wouldn't be able to do much for the first week anyway.

I would LOVE to go and see Wales v Australia on 15-Sept in Cardiff and my brother-in-law can get tickets easily for all games in Cardiff (ask no questions ). It just depends what I'm like when I get home.

If the games are televised in the USA you'll be watching lots of early morning TV !!

I hope so ...Just found out I have a special seat for the 8 pm showing on Thursday ...thats right ...that be before the Midnight showing ...LOL

I'll be there at 8pm! Well....not there at your theater, but already got my tickets for 8pm Thursday night!....my son's not too happy because now he has to go to school Friday. If we did the midnight show, he'd get to stay home.

Wow! I wish I can get easy tickets for Millenium Stadium. Great venue! Saw one game there last year Wales v. Italy.

I get Setanta sports here in NYC, they'll have all 48 games, live as well as repeats, plan to catch most of them.

Did you see the pools? USA, UK, Samoa, Tonga, and South Africa I think. Don't think the US will be doing much in that group.

we just got our new cards today too!! woohoo!!! it was great getting mail from mickey mouse! my youngest ds was so excited to see the mickey ship!! it took us a long time to get our first card though too.

Me and Johnna got our cards yesterday. We were excited also.

We also received a DVC offer in the mail. Point price is going up from 101 to $104 per point. Now would be a good time to get some extra points. Unfortunately our bank account does not agree.

ST DD who turns 17 on Friday wants a puppy. I keep reminding her that we already HAVE a dog that I didn't want. Not that I don't love him to pieces now...but still.....
Her friend's dog (major mutt) had puppies, so of course, she just HAS to have one.
I understand that her birthday is coming up, and one should get something they want for their birthday....but I can draw the line at a DOG, can't I????

She's also not getting the shiny pickup truck she wants. Gee, tough birthday!

When my DS was a ST (always a good one though ) I used to tell him "Life is tough".

Now he has a great job and can afford anything he wants but it is real funny in that he does not waste his money like he wanted to do ours.

I still love him!
