OK,

Anyone up with me?

Well... if not then now is as good a time as any to reveal the current state of affairs. Tomorrow (or Friday) I'll be picking up 20 (or 22) tickets for the Hollywood Bowl on Sept 15. The program is the season finale featuring fireworks and Pink Martini http://www.pinkmartini.com/sympathique/pm_sympathique.html check the link for music samples - if you're curious. The tix we're getting are the cheapest seats in back at $7 or $9 each.

We're all out of town tomorrow for a nite - then back to sign up the kids on saturday for Chinese School and Julianna for swim team. Plus J has a birthday party saturday. Sunday looks unscheduled - however we might hit DL Sunday depending on our energy levels after saturday.

Next weekend I have a game gathering for L5R. Normally we play the game in slow motion via a secure blog site. The person running the game is an old elementary school pal who is currently the L5R line developer for the publisher of L5R. The game next saturday is supposed to have one or two movie producer friends sitting in to evaluate whether a movie can be made with the L5R game concept. So... it should be an interesting game as the way we play it and interact may result in some form of movie being created. As the line developer - this represents a major opportunity for grand slam payday. Me... I think I'm gonna get heavy snacks at no cost saturday.... at the most! <chuckles> Then ... on that we have next sunday reserved at the Hilton by Anaheim for a 2 day visit to DL.

Hmmm.... seeing as we already have DL scheduled for next sunday/monday ... I think we;ll not go to DL this sunday after all.

OK... I'm done talking to myself for the moment. I'll go wander the DIS boards for a few minutes until my movie is over. I'm watching the end of Aliens now... RIpley just descended the elevator fully armed and is advancing in search of the little girl Newt.

ON another note... while googling for images I ran across a few interesting images from Kansas. There they have a program suggesting they are stiff in punishing drivers who drive off without paying for thier fuel. I did not read through everything as I was mostly trolling for entertaining images - but here it is ... it's a bumper sticker I think...

Umm, Crash, if this is from KANSAS, why does the small print saw "FLORIDA Petroleum Marketers..."?

(Actually, these stickers are quite common -- we have them on pumps here in IL, too. I've never been quite clear why the penalty for shoplifting gas is losing your drivers license but the penalty for shoplifting food is not to lose your stomach).

Andy you are the Coolest Dad next to mine DH that is. Mine went with my DD and each came back with a tattoo. I could not be mad at either one. DH came home with a rose and my name on it!!! My DD had Sorcerer Mickey tattoo.

How could you object to a Mickey tattoo? Just can't be done (when you have the DISease)
