"AWWWWW, HOW CUTE"

I live in Jersey, we don't pump

I guess they don't trust y'all to figure out which end of the handle goes into the car? Or are they too afraid you might light a cigarette and have blowtorch fights in the parking lot?

gets blabbed all over the boards the next morning.

So true! Some people can't keep their damn mouth's shut! :rotfl2: Really you should try a different log in name & join us J. R. It's a blast!

It is quite devestating, no matter the age. When my father died, it was good riddance. But when my mom passed, it was a complete shock. I don't remember how I got through the rest of the day, I was in such a daze. Thank goodness for my wife, who got our things packed, got us all in the car and started the drive home to Western PA. I am not sure I would have made it there myself. It still hurts to think of it now tonight and my mom and I weren't even that close in her last 10 years, which maybe is why it hurts still.

I know my wife is silently bracing for the day that is still to come, although with her, she still has a pair of grandmothers alive -- the women in her family live forever. The men die early. Her dad and I claim to understand why.

So sorry J. R. It really is never easy, no matter what!

Diane, so sorry for your lose even if it was expected. Your family will be in our thoughts and prayers.

Thank you so much!

Hello! We are booked on this cruise as well. There are 4 of us...myself, husband, DD age 12 (now) and DS age 9 (now). I sent an email to the address on the first page, but haven't heard anything back. We took our first Disney Cruise on March 24, 2007 on the Magic and are hooked. We had an amazing time. We are really looking forward to the trip. We would also like to get the kids connected with some friends ahead of time. :wizard:

Captain that is one superty cool door.:cool1:

Funny you should ask, I'm either going to be known as The Coolest Dad or The Biggest Fool. Anyhow here it is: Back early in the school year I made a deal with Angelina, something we have done several times in the past, but not to this extent. Well, Angelina kept her part of the bargain and since I am a dad of my word, I did as well. Last evening, I still shutter at the thought, we took Angelina to get her reward and I am adding a pic of it below.

Now, it's time to get my ST up so she can get ready for school.

Andy you are the Coolest Dad next to mine DH that is.:cool1: Mine went with my DD and each came back with a tattoo. I could not be mad at either one. DH came home with a rose and my name on it!!!:flower3: My DD had Sorcerer Mickey tattoo.

I am just too chicken!!!!! I HATE PAIN!!!!!!!!!!:sad2: I do have a bunch of temporary tattoos of Mickey.:thumbsup2

Esteri!

I'd like to plan the mini-meet for Saturday August 25, 2007 at poolside at the DVC Villas at the Wilderness Lodge. I'm just waiting for my DBIL to book his trip as they need to leave by August 26th to be back in NYC. His DD is starting High School and needs to be back by then.

I guess I miss the mini meet by a week!!!! I heard you throw a great party!!! I will arrive Labor Day. :sad2:

Before I forget...which is easy to do when I an sneaking on here in between jobs...welcome back BIP! It was nice to see you posting when I signed in today. :)

Are you still typing up a storm?????? :confused3

I hesitate to post this here, mainly because I hate bringing this thread down & you are all having such fun, but since I did let you all know that I had to fly down to Florida as soon as we got back from HHI, because my mother had yet another blockage in her heart & I think it's only fair I keep you updated. We since found out it she was inoperable due to her age (77), emphazema, etc. & unfortunately she passed away yesterday. I am truly okay & at peace, especially since I got to say my goodbyes a few weeks ago. The last time I spoke with her was on was fittingly on Mother's Day. She is in a way better place than she had been in a very long time & truly she kept saying she was tired & she just wanted to go. She was back & forth from a rehab hospital to a regular hospital. She was on her death bed one minute & fine the next. She went back in the hospital Sunday due to congestive heart failure. They had her sitting in the chair yesterday & she asked to lay down because she was not feeling well & she died shortly after. The nurses say she passed peacefully. She is to be cremated & her remains sent up here for burial with my father. We are hoping for a graveside service next weekend so I probably won't be on much next week. But really I am fine & in fact had posted as usual yesterday, shortly after finding out. I was enjoying all the POC intrigue & didn't want to interrupt.

Diane I am so sorry to hear of your loss.:flower3: I wish I could give you a real hug.

You know if we ever get a website we should think about setting it up so that after the fact everyone can FTP they photos up for sharing.

That would take up too much bandwidth. Last cruise I set up a snapfish group account. Everyone could log on and upload their pictures & view everyone else's that they uploaded to the group account. :thumbsup2

These aren't USED shoes you are bidding for, are they???

Nawww....

.... New. And I won a pair tonight for $105. So the spouse is happy to have a pair to try.

<chuckles>..... U-S-E-D ..... like I would.... <chuckles>:rotfl2:

Congratulations Tom. Probably both :rotfl2:

It was just the opposite for me. Growing up, you never paid first -- you pumped and then went inside. It took a while when I moved to Georgia to get used to pay before pump. But I guess this was downtown Atlanta and things are a bit different than West Backwater Pennsylvania.

I seem to recall the days when it was normal to pump first then pay everywhere! Is my memory bad or am I just getting older? :confused3

Just got off the phone making dinner reservations for Sunday at Goofys Kitchen. We are going to DL this weekend to scope out the new Pirate Lair on Tom Sawyers Island. Found this map from the Orange County Regester. There is a lot of information on Mouseinfo about the interactive goodies that they added.

Sorry for your loss. I was hoping one day to meet your Mom here in The Villages. I'm flying out really early tomorrow morning to visit the kids/grandkids in Philadelphia. But I'll be back after June 20th and if I can do anything for you or your sister, PM me.

We'll be keeping your family in our prayers.

Spoiler ...Highlight to read

It was never explained if it was just 10 years then your service was done ....If anything it was forever and only being able to be on land Once every ten years .....If your theory is true , then what would become of the Flying Dutchman ??? It needs and must have a Captain ...What about Wills Heart ?? Its still in the Chest ...Once your bound to the Dutchman you are bound to it till the heart is stabbed ....I know your referring to the Play ...But I am basing my theory on the POTC script....they took the consept of the Flying Dutchman and ran with it ...so sticking with the POTC script then he is bound to the Dutchman forever ...kinda like the same thing as Calypso ...Yes she is a mythical thing creature goddess or whatever you want to call her , but they did go there on way with her as well .....most all questions will be answered when Pirates of the Caribbean : Curse of the Dead Mans World comes out ...:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Edit ....after doing some extensive research ...there was a key scene that was cut from the Movie between Davy Jones and Tia (calypso) ....after finding out what the scene intailed , I have to say now the the Curse of the Flying Dutchman on Will has been broken after the ten years ...

pirate:

We haven't seen the movie yet but I am enjoying reading all of these comments. It might help me to GET the story the first time I see it...unlike the DMC which I had to watch several times to piece it all together...seeing it inbetween making dinner & the like at home. There is no way that anyone can expect people not to talk about the film IMO. There is nothing anyone could tell me about the plot that would make me not excited about watching the movie in the theater...the first POC movie to see in the theater too.
