I am a yo yo all my life. I think my body survives on nothing.:( :( I just had my thyroid checked and Doctor said it was perfect!!! :headache: :headache: I was very upset.....that would be the easy way out!!:rolleyes1

Who is getting older:confused3 :confused3 i am getting just wiser!!!:cool1: :cool1:

Only 27 days til the mini meet!!!:woohoo: :woohoo: How many of those wristbands did we all end up ordering???:confused3 Thanks again for all your hard work!

Cheryl, I had my thyroid checked about 9 years ago and I was hoping for an easy out too! No such luck, I was in normal ranges.

Whoa! 27 days, I better make some hotel ressies! Oh and save up my pennies for gas money!:moped: Or with the way the weather is going maybe rent a boat or one of tho se duck vehicles? :lmao:

Our grand total of wristbands is 804. Will order some extra just incase.

:cool1: That is awesome! I am proud of you. Keep up the good work. I think a few of us are talking about getting together in the morning to walk/jog around the ship. Are you also interested?:cool1:

I would love to be included... but I think I'll be in the walking group. I've asked my trainer to set me up with a light program for my daughter and I to do, but I couldn't promise that I would do it :rolleyes1. I would be ecstatic to come back the same weight as when I leave! But I won't hold my breath. :rotfl:

I just noticed that my link to the banner is gone? Did the location change???

Thanks.

MJ

Please ignore ... Fixed it myself ... erased the [/IMG] when I tried to tidy it up!

ATTENTION ALL BOOK READERS

I'm curious if anyone is concerned about also dragging along enough books to read while we are onboard? I was curious if we had enough people to bring a book or two and switch off with others so we can all have enough reading yet not have to bring a bag of books along.....thought that if there enough of us interested we could offer up our reading choices and/or books we could bring along that others would enjoy also.......any takers? Or does anyone have a solution of how you are bringing books along with you if you are bringing several of your own?:beach:

Speaking of books...1 more day until the Janet Evanovich book comes out!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am going to try so hard to keep it for the flight on Saturday but not sure if I will make it or not.
Just thought of something funny. I was just telling the family come hell or high water I was going on "Universe of Energy" on this trip. The 1st time I ever went to WDW I decided to stay outside and read a book while my mom went in. I cannot even remember the book but I just could not put it down.
Better get JE book read by the 25th since that is EPCOT day.

I couldn't wait to read any new James Patterson (the series i read anyway) or a Janet Evanovich until the cruise.....that is like asking me NOT to buy the last Harry Potter book when it came out.....HELLO....wasn't happening. I love to read and waiting to read a book I look forward to never happens.

Hello, just cautiously poking my head out from under this rock to see if this week will be better. Our house is back actively on the market, and someone wants to come and see it on Wednesday. The good news is that someone wants to see it ... the bad news is we're back into living in "spotless" mode :rotfl2:

I hope all the Dad's out there had a Happy Father's Day. We took DH out for the afternoon, collecting football equipment for our youngest, scoping out a new development to potentially build our next home, fantasy shopping for flat-screen TV's (decided we need a new house to know which TV will fit ::yes:: ) and had a nice late lunch/early dinner out.

Wow! The 1000 calorie intake is so small. I have worked with a trainer since 2005 and I would imagine he would think you are not eating enough. Your body needs fuel to burn (work). I know everyone is different so you might be right but maybe checking into that would help you out. Keep me posted. I always care about others and their weight loss goals. I have struggled with it for a long time. Take care.

When you eat so few calories in a day, your body ends up "eating" your muscle because it needs more nutrients. I've heard it referred to as "going in to starvation" with your metabolism. This is what the Curves challenge/diet is based around. It's not good for your body to maintain such a low intake as you start to lose muscle which is replaced by fat and that's why you don't lose weight.

Another one here on the trainer bandwagon. I've been seeing mine since the end of January (new years resolution) and am proud to say that I am down 24 pounds. Still have the belly and the flabby arms, but they are getting smaller and less flabby! I want to lose another 10 pounds before the cruise, so I better get crunching!! :cheer2:

Congrats! I wanted to start with a trainer after we got engaged, but never could come up with the $$ for it. But I've been doing a strength training and then abs class 2x's a week for the past few months. When I first picked up my wed dress 3 months ago, I had this unsightly fat hanging over the top of the bodice. I had my first fitting last Thursday and it's almost all gone (or at least hidden enough!). ;) Only a two more months to go and my only goal is to maintain my weight, tone up, and stay healthy!

I went out for martinis with the girls the other night before we went to see Sex in the City & then yesterday we went to a Japanese Steak House for Father's Day. I don't even want to know how many weight watchers points I ate & drank this weekend! :faint:

Haven't you heard? Everything is zero points when you are hanging out with girlfriends!

I'll look for you too. I'm hoping to convince my FI that we need to do at least 2 laps every day if we're going to eat whatever we want. This way we'll 1) get to see the whole ship, 2) get a little bit of exercise, and 3) get out of our stateroom every once in a while! :rolleyes1

Last summer on the Med Repo - I indulged in a session w/trainer on the Magic and he set up a program for me - it started w/walking up from deck 1 then a session on the treadmill and then weights circuit.
I didn't gain any weight over the 14 days of Over Indulgence!!

I've meant to ask, does your FI know that you know?
