SCORED big time at Walgreens today.
I saw in the paper that they had my new best friend, Neutrogena sunscreen spray on sale. Now, the sale price was the normal Wal Mart price but.... they had a "free with purchase" suncreen stick which normally goes for $8.00 by itself. Then... when I went to pay I chose the 70 spf (can't be too sure) which had a free sample tube attached and..... the cashier gave me the price for the 45 spf (saved $1.00 per bottle) and wait that's not all... She also had $2.00 off coupons for each bottle!!! Soooo I got 3 bottles of 70 spf Neutrogena spray sunscreen, 3 full size suncreen sticks, and 3 samples tubes for a grand total of $16.50. Yay me!!!!
:cool1:

i read your post and ran to walgreens for the "deal" thanks..

:thumbsup2
I like your thinking...
:thumbsup2 :dance3:

I guess this is the time and place to confess... I am addicted to ice cream.. chocolate of any variety and especially chocolate ice cream.. wanna find me anytime.. look on deck 9 at the ice cream spot.. for the lady with the big cup full of ice cream sundae..

I use to love this too (well I still love it) but I made the mistake of looking at the calorie value when I started watching my weight. :scared1: I won't even tell you how many calories or grams of fat it contains, I guess that is why it tastes so good. ;)

Oh no! That bad? I would love to say I will run a mile after work to make up for it but I got those dang piles of laundry. Cleaning lady can't clean if she can't find the floor.

Yay! I was very surprised when I put on the spray. I was sooo not greasy I had a hard time figuring out if I missed any spot. That's my kind of sunscreen :thumbsup2 n!

Now... is that not a treat? Now we've got 4 Alana's embarked on our trip - sort of...

Just yesterday we learned that the 3rd sister of Ariel is Princess Alana! Truly, she appears in a featured capacity in the Little Mermaid 3... however, I have not had the privilage of seeing it - so this is all 2nd hand info.

This image above is NOT Princess Alana ... as it's proving very difficult to find.

Always knew ours was a princess! She's growing out of that now though. We did catch that in the original movie, but a bigger feature in Little Mermaid 3?! We'll look for that one!

(BTW, our Alana is pronounced Ah-la-na.)

True- Poor Bill has major heart issues on both sides of his family. For goodness sakes- both his GrandMOTHERS died on heart attacks in their 50's!!! Poor guy does not stand too much of a chance.

My Maternal Grandmother had her first open heart surgery when she was in her early 40's -- she died when she was...47. She also had BC before she was 40.... My mom had stage 3 BC a couple of years ago..... My mom definatley got the short end of the gene pool as far as health is concerned!

Fat is what makes everything taste better! LOL! ::yes::

You might pass out from a heat stroke if you ran this afternoon! I so want to ride my new bike...but, it is so HOT! LOL! And early in the morning there is so much traffic -- a man & woman were killed near us a couple of weekends ago while riding their bikes......

I LOVE this sunblock!!!! I tell everyone about it! LOL!

Happy Monday everyone! I am a bit toasty from the weekend. Everyone one at work is just staring at me. Thankfully it is not too painful. Figured I would chime in. I have been seeing a trainer since April. Have not lost any weight and my clothes are not fitting any different. In July if things have not changed I guess I am going to have to give in and find new clothes for the cruise (hopefully just formal & semi).

Another one here on the trainer bandwagon. I've been seeing mine since the end of January (new years resolution) and am proud to say that I am down 24 pounds. Still have the belly and the flabby arms, but they are getting smaller and less flabby! I want to lose another 10 pounds before the cruise, so I better get crunching!! :cheer2:

You'll meet my hubby there then he loves his ice cream!!

Hope you are having a great time in Boston!! Are you going to walk the Freedom Trail???:confused3 :confused3 Don't forget lots of pictures from the mini meet and make sure Diane and MaryAnn have a drink for me!!!:woohoo: :woohoo: :dance3:

Sure I'll have a drink for you! And then I'll have one for me too! :goodvibes

2 months and 1 day! :scared1: That means too late for either gastric bypass or liposuction. Hmm- guess diet and exercise will have to make whatever dent I can in 2 months.
Well- that is after lunch. We went to Macaroni Grill yesterday for Fathers Day and I have leftovers. I normally do not like that place but had Carmelita Rigatino (or something like that). YUM!!! Grilled chicken and carmalized onions over rigatoni in a creamy marsala sauce. That was very good!

I went out for martinis with the girls the other night before we went to see Sex in the City & then yesterday we went to a Japanese Steak House for Father's Day. I don't even want to know how many weight watchers points I ate & drank this weekend! :faint:

Wow! Your Mom is doing great to still be alive.
Miserable isn't it? I am soooo dreading my electric bill next month. :faint:

Afternoon everyone! This work thing is really cutting into my DISing! :lmao: Oh well. I made ADR's or whatever they are called for Goofy's Kitchen and Blue Bayou. Only 61 days left till the cruise. Only 58 days till we leave! I gotta start making lists!:rotfl2:

I was a very good girl and went to a water aerobics class this morning! It was fun, but I'm sure feeling it!

Is one of your DD's and Alana also?
Yes, one of Ariel's sisters is Alana! In the first Little Mermaid near the beginning of the movie, all the sisters are introduced in a song and one of them is Alana!

looks like we pronounce them the same way! :thumbsup2

Ya know - it's nice to have such good company with the weight/flab/etc. issues!!!
I had a problem accepting that I wouldn't just stay thin w/out having to work at it!! I am a terrible procrastinator - and I must be consistant or I see NO results!!
I have to thank God that there is longevity and good health on both sides of my family.

It's kinda funny in my family.
We are extremely healthy. There is absolutely no heart problems or cancer and we live for a long time and then just die!
But... no one has any hair and we go deaf and blind. Not sure if we are lucky or not! :rotfl2:

Hi everyone!

Arlene,

We received a post card from our TA Chuck today. He was on the west bound crossing. It was post marked May 16. I know that several people using him received post cards. I wonder why ours came so late. Could it be that we called him 4 days ago asking when we would have room assignments (we're still GTY)

Wow! The 1000 calorie intake is so small. I have worked with a trainer since 2005 and I would imagine he would think you are not eating enough. Your body needs fuel to burn (work). I know everyone is different so you might be right but maybe checking into that would help you out. Keep me posted. I always care about others and their weight loss goals. I have struggled with it for a long time. Take care.

I am a yo yo all my life. I think my body survives on nothing.:( :( I just had my thyroid checked and Doctor said it was perfect!!! :headache: :headache: I was very upset.....that would be the easy way out!!:rolleyes1

 cheryl.. i blame my unfit state on the computer but you are working harder than i am.. must be the metavbolism.. i just hate getting old...

Who is getting older:confused3 :confused3 i am getting just wiser!!!:cool1: :cool1:

Only 27 days til the mini meet!!!:woohoo: :woohoo: How many of those wristbands did we all end up ordering???:confused3 Thanks again for all your hard work!

RUGBY

I would like to use the info board on thepiratezone that Tom set up. If anyone has questions about our game or comments we can use that forum. I'll try to check it daily.

:cool1: That is awesome! I am proud of you. Keep up the good work. I think a few of us are talking about getting together in the morning to walk/jog around the ship. Are you also interested?:cool1:

I will there with you too. I have absolutely no willpower when it comes to sweets, especially ice cream. I blame all my weight gain on my thyroid. I have to have it checked again this week...along with my blood sugar and cholestrol. Then I get to go to see the doctor next week so she can lecture me on the state of my health. She really is very sweet and tries not to be judgemental (considering she is young and in great shape). I try, I swear I do, but it is so hard.
