I had it pre eclampsia with Cade too. I wasn't really swollen though & in fact I really didn't have any syptoms at all, but they kept hospitalizing me because my blood pressure was sky rocketing. They finally took him at 37 weeks & just in the nick of time. No fluid left in my uterus & his heart dropped drastically during delivery. He's my little miracle now! ::yes::

Our youngest was born at 37 wks. :) They don't know when I lost most of my amniotic fluid but, suspect it was somewhere around the 7 month. Because of my age & diabetes I had regular ultrsounds and that is when they caught the loss of amniotic fluids and the IGR (she had stopped growing for a few weeks in the middle of my pregnancy).
They decided she had a better chance out of me then in me. ;)
When she was born she was smaller then *Bitty Baby*!!! LOL! Less then 15" and 4 1/2 lbs. All of my other babies (even the ones born a couple of weeks early) were 8 1/2 lbs.
She couldn't hold her blood sugar or her temp but, other then that was fine! Since I had used the same pedi for all my children (they were 21, 18, 10 & 3 when she was born) he let me take her home after 36 hrs. I did have to take her into his office everyday for a couple of months, then every week, then every two weeks, then once a month for a couple of years....... At first it was blood work & height/weight then it was just height/weight checks....

She is still small... BUT, she has grown more in the last 6 months then she has grown in the last couple of years!!!!!!! She is now 42" tall!!!!!! :yay: :yay: :yay: And she weighs 38lbs!!!!! :yay: :yay:

She still suffers from low blood sugar and she will get migraines that have her down for up to 3 days from it..... It was really bad when she was little (2 - 4) and we didn't know what was causing her migraines. Now that we know we shove a couple of spoonfuls of peanut butter in her along with a couple of tylenol! :thumbsup2

I'm in! I love Donny and Marie, I met her when I was about 12. She was my idol!

If y'all really want to (you and Desiree) look at the schedule donnyandmarie.com and then y'all email me (add @aol.com to my name) and we can hammer out the details.

And NO MORE TRASHING DONNY! I won't be listening! :rolleyes1

Julie (Bellinus) is away at the moment - I think she is getting back today sometime

OK thanks :)

Stephanie, I hope all is going well. I just got on to catch the last few pages.

Welcome to anyone new. Happy Birthday to anyone I've missed and prayers to all who need it. I am ready to get in full planning mode now that the family visit is over.

No way I am going to ketchup, so I hope I didn't miss anything important. I have ordered my ts****, lanyards and bracelets. I have my dining linked and am on the list for FE gifts. (I can't find the latest list, how many cabins are we up to?) I was gone for a week and feel like I missing a month's worth of planning. I got my magnetic paper before I left last week and hope to work on my signs this weekend. I shouldn't even be on here as I am still not caught up at work...I had 320 emails in my inbox!

I think the last FE list she posted was 99 rooms, but I know people have added their names since (me included)

Sydney was 4lbs, 1.8oz when she was born. She also was 18.5" when she was born but the next day was 17.5" :confused3 She spent 3mo in the NICU while we argued with the neonatologists about her....

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: That is so weird! What is up with the school district? :confused3 :confused3

One of 473* reasons we spent the morning visiting a private school.
Oh, and they never sent any notifcation home with the kids about any of these changes. We've decided that the kids are done for the summer on Friday - whatever the district decides between now and then.

* For those scoring at home, it is also reason #589,654 for wanting to leave here ASAP.

We should have. We had a Grand Cherokee at the time so it was doable. Instead we had the pleasure of spending $175.00 for 4 hours in a hotel. :faint:

We had a Cherokee Laredo. 6' DH, me, and our black lab slept in the back. All our camping gear was sitting outside the car.

I would so kill... *** (and GS camps start on Monday)

Well gotta run back to GIS training.

Yeah, I'm thrilled, can you tell?
Too bad we don't pay our GIS people more - you could come work with me!

I'll be GIS queen by this time next week - I'm mapping trails in PA all next week. Biking/skating 230 miles, including 14 miles on something called the Endless Mountain Riding Trail. Not looking forward to that one!

Personally, I didn't think that Blue Bayou stood up to its reputation when we went. If you do go, you should request a "water side" table so you can see the Pirates boats leaving. We were at a table too far from the water and while the ambiance was nice, it would have been better closer to the water. Also, as a previous person said, the ambiance is what you're going to BB for, not the "great" food! :)

We stay at the DLH every year for a company expo and it's my understanding that you have to be staying at the resort to get in early. Or maybe AP holders get in early too. I have a contact at DLH that I can check with if anyone is interested and can't find out another way. It might take me a day, but she's typically pretty good. Just let me know.

Meant to answer that early entry question when BIP first asked. Multi day park hoppers come with 1 early entry. I think Getawaytoday.com had a special that offered 2 early entries though. Guests staying onsite get to use early entry every day it's offered, regardless of their ticket type.

Two great get togethers in one day! I was even in DL when one was happening and didn't even know about it. I did a quickie post on the board that we were going, thru some clothes in a suitcase, left in a taxi and didn't have any contact info for anyone. But, hey we had a great time.

Here's one from our trip - probably about the time that others were meeting up for the day.

splash.jpg

Will plan better next time - we bought AP's - cheaper than buying 3 day passes for August and we get to go back - bonus.....:cool1:

Congrats on the AP.

I think you were actually the catalyst for the DL meet. Once you announced you were going, Desiree and Chris both wanted to meet up with you. Since you were already gone, they just met up with each other.

"as a rsult I expect the Amex card to take a severe beating once onboard"

LOL...this cracked me up this morning! I must agree with it too! Sadly

my wife's brother & his family..lives in muscatine, ia. . it hasn't

That just prives you are a mover and a shaker!!!!:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:
Company cars would be a great deal but no such luck for us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good news!!!(Luck is better already this week!!) The company announced those that would like to work a ten hour day may do so starting next week. He will be off Fridays from now on.:woohoo: :dance3: :woohoo: That will save us a lot of money on gas and wear and tear on the new car!!! The scary part is that is what is going to happen to the world so we can all afford to just go to work 4 times a week because of gas prices/:scared1:  :scared1:

A mover and a shaker I am, eh? SO ... I can see it now... I'm being set up "to blame" for the next major EARTHQUAKE ... where-ever it might happen in the world.

( yuk-yuk-yuk ).... so am I being a bit paranoid? Well... no... I prefer to think in terms of guarding my carefully crafted and stubbornly defended INNOCENCE!

And as for the 4 / 10 option... I think it's wonderful! Everything about it makes good sense to ME... as you gain a 3 day weekend ... and you cut the wera and tear on car, fuel budget and body from the commute ... and to that I can only openly muse - when will they dream up the 3 day 13.3 hour work week?.... or even better is the 2 day 20 hour work "week". Oh shoot... lets' just jump to the 6.6 day 24 hour work MONTH! Oh wait a minute - don'[t firemen ge something like that already? I've GOT IT!!! I wanna be a FIREMAN when I grow up... and I'm still hopeing to "grow up" some time before I turn 80!

Now how many months will it take for me to earn a FIREMANS' PENSION if I choose to work a few months STRAIGHT THROUGH? Lets see... 20 years... cut by 3 days = 1 ... well it's quite simple ... 20 years service with 7 years STRAIGHT service minus a few days for leap years.

Ooopss.... math alert!

OK... on another point... today is my daughter's last day at school... a half day. I am picking her up - and taking her to a daddy daughter day out. I'm thinking of doing lunch at her favorite Chinese restuarant in town then maybe Disneyland for the afternoon. Then a late dinner with my Dad if shes' awake half way home Mom and the younger one have already flown out to Boston for the week - and a birthday party for my niece. I'm flying with the older daughter tomorrow to join them. And as I understand it we might be doing a mini-DIS meet out there with Mary Ann (Magiroux) hosting for maybe Diane (allshookup), Chrissy (mkygrl), and maybe Penny (psm729). I remain flexible for the day and times - but Monday had been suggested.

OK - I gotta run now... gotta long date with my daughter today - shes' been good in school and her academic year is done! Well... for our flight I did buy a 2nd grade activity work book - doing 2nd grade math, reading, writing, science, and so on ... and I bought a dedicated 2nd grade math book. Plus some new washable markers, twist up crayolas, and a fresh drwing pad for our flights friday and next week wednesday. So her academics resume on Friday... <wink>.

Oh, my!!! The Dr had told me that if it had been my 1st...2nd or 3rd child she would have been staying in the hospital a while. :goodvibes But, he had known me a long time and knew that I really would take her to see him everyday! :thumbsup2

FIL - is going to be released later on today. He has an infection -- intestininal -- and his ulcer is acting up so, he is on an antibiotic and a prescription pepcid (?).

Dh said he was extrememly dehydrated -- I told dh to remind FIL that rum & coke doesn't count as a liquid! ;)

Dh is still with FIL and is going to be the one to handle all the details.

One of the funniest things (at least ot dh & I) is last night before dh left FIL was panicked.....FIL --- *I don't have any cash on me.* :rotfl:

Dh told him not to worry that that he didn't need to tip the nurses during the night and they didn't have a bar! LOL!

Funny the things a person will worry about when they are in the hospital:)
My Mom had to go in the hospital on my birthday for a slipped disc. Here I am 40+ years old and she is worried about my birthday present:laughing:
