Hi All!

Did a quick speed-reading ketchup.

Doreen and Monica, both of your Dads will be in our prayers.

We loved the pictures of the Dole Whip and Beach BBQ meets from the weekend!

Yes, Monica, there will be an extra little something for the Princesses on Princess night. Thanks for organizing it-Linda is looking forward to it! make sure y'all sign up if interested!

I think we're keeping our cliff diving excursion for Acapulco too. We really want to see the cliff divers. I'm hoping the earlier start will mean less heat (Hey, a guy can wish, can't he.) and no film crew should make it move at a better pace.

Sorry that there were no new openings for Palo. Like someone (Lisa?) said, check back often, especially around the 30 day mark.

Diane, we read that you live near Salem! We're going to try to get up there for a weekend this fall.

Well, off to my rotation site. I am learning, but it kills me that I have to pay thousands of dollars to the school so that I can go and work for free somewhere. Luckily, i'm not afraid to ask questions, so I'm trying to make the most of it and learn whatever I can.

Have a great day Pirates!

Well, my DH just left for Pittsburg for the week, he had to leave on his birthday...poor guy. I am really bummed for him as he can't be here to bask in his birthday with the kids.

6 more days of school for my kids, lots of projects, exams etc so a crazy busy week for us. AND, my assistant is on vacation this week! UGH, I didn't put 2 and 2 together when he asked for this week off...but I would never stop anyone from taking a vacation...so I am stuck with no assistant, no husband and oodles of things to do...FUN, so I think I will avoid all stress and DIS. Okay...bad idea...have a great day everyone!!!!

I was told that no new reservations would be added which I think is crappy for the ones who have never cruised before. As for Palo, they do not book any tables over 4 online, that has to be done on the ship.

Definitely worth a try.

If you are staying at a DL hotel and have transfers through Disney, yes, you will be able to check in at GC and will get your KTTW card just before getting on the shuttle.

The Outdoor Adventure in Puerto Vallarta is still available (I just checked).

Hey TRACY!!!!

One more post until you have 5000!!!! Make it a good one!!!!

Just a quick good morning! I am off to work our local election and won't be home until about 10pm my time tonight! :faint:

Have a great day!

Happy Birthday Lorri!!!!!

Wow! Post 549 is my first post to this thread.

I guess we know its not me that talks too much!

Hey guys - Yes I know my pm box is full -

You can also download all your PMs as a txt or excel file ......

Oh Roger...........I want your pictures when we cruise. You take some awesome picture!! Hi Cherie!!!:wave2: :wave2:

Well, then you should give some attention to the possibility of a Pirate Pass Photo Sharing Site

I never did figure out chat last night and DH took over the laptop at 9:50 Mtn time. I was on the correct page, but it didn't like my login from the Pirate boards. Do I need to create a new login?

boo, no Palo brunch reservations available !!

When we looked at Palo, there was ONLY the very first day (6:30 and 8:30 on embarkation day) and the very last dinner (9:00 on CC day) and one in between. BUT the nursery wasn't available and those were carpy times anyway. We checked again later and there was NO Palo at all :(.

I tried too, no luck for me either. I hope the first timers get what they want..they must be so excited for their first Disney Cruise!!!

I know you guys are in chat, but report back here what you were able to get.

GOOD LUCK!!!

We got 3 excursions, and are hoping that 2 more open up. Our problem is that there isn't a whole lot that we can do with a 18mo old! We even wanted to leave her in the nursery, but some of the excursions are 7 hours and the cast member yesterday said they don't feed them there... Specially if she's tube fed :(

If I were a first time cruiser and on this cruise, I'd be very disheartened if I logged on tonight and many of the good excursions (absolutely no dolphins except the encounter) were not available....

Yeah it was frustrating...

I called the concierge regarding Acapulco...

We are booked on the City Tour with Cliff Divers. I have read so many negative reviews I was prompted to call and see if they would be making any changes before the EB.

I was on hold for a long time while the concierge checked with the excursion manager. She reported back that they have not heard negative reviews and are not planning any changes at this time. I believe she was sincere. I politely suggested she read these boards.... Perhaps they do not have the comment cards from the WB yet? :confused3

I'm going to hang tight for now and continue to think about it.... I wouldn't be so conflicted if my littlest guys were not so little (ages 3 and 1.5).

Well the both of the diver excursions were totally booked by 12:02 Eastern when we looked :(

We ended up with the Chileno Bay Snorkeling Adventure in Cabo, Deluxe Cartagena & Fortress with Folklore show, and Sailing and Snorkeling in Aruba.

We were very upset about Palo... It's a 15 day cruise and we couldn't get Palo :(

You can just call her George for short!!:thumbsup2 A really nice person!!::yes::

I'm sure she is! LOL!

You will love Stephanie.............she talks more than I do. So when you meet me in July.............you will say that is impossible!!:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

:rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2: I can't believe that you are saying these things about me! :rotfl: :rotfl:

Well another late night searching for things like tiaras on eBay and trying to find something tropical for me to wear . . .talked DH into a mono tropical shirt. Gotta get organized (like the rest of you!) . . . headed to the homeschool Convention in Richmond, VA this weekend. Have to figure out what books we need for next year . . .

I love homeschool conventions!!! I spent the Friday & Saturday before Mother's DAy here -- homeschoolbookfair.org
And in July there will be a Catholic Homeschool convention in the same center!! It's our first one in this county!! And it is only about 15 min from my house!!!

This is going to sound sooo dorky BUT, when you get home PM and tell me what great things you bought! LOL! I LOVE buying curriculum!! LOL! I am a junky! ::yes::

:rotfl: :rotfl:

I totally agree!!! My husband was starting to freak out about how much the whole trip was going to cost (even though I have most of it saved in a CD that comes due TODAY) so I told him I was going to put together a budget that covered everything and I would stay within the limits. That seemed to make him feel much better!!! Then I put him on a monthly budget that includes his haircuts (he pays way too much in my opinion and you can't even tell that he got a haircut...I told him he is not like Matt Lauer and it is okay for us to notice that he got a haircut!!!) lunches out etc. That didn't got over very well when he had to start keeping track :stir: :stir: So I think I won my battle!!! :rolleyes1

:lmao: Dh usually waits a couple of months between haircuts!!! LOL! He just doesn't want to spend the time to go and actually get a haircut!! LOL!

DH is the *money* person in this family. No one wants me in charge of the money --- I wouldn't let anyone spend any! LOL!

Well, my DH just left for Pittsburg for the week, he had to leave on his birthday...poor guy. I am really bummed for him as he can't be here to bask in his birthday with the kids.

I am so sorry that he had to leave on his b-day! DH is usually out of town for at least one person's b-day a year! He changed the dates for his next trip to England just so he would be home the day BEFORE Claire's 7th b-day. ;)

The last weeks of school are certainly waaayyy busy!!!
Thank goodness we are done with all of the end of the year junk! LOL! We went to a new waterpark yesterday in celebration (and it is less then 4 min from my house!)

Cheryl,
Of course you do remember that Tom isn't the ony attorney on our thread!!!! Having said that - it's Too Funny :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I think of you as a friend first not as a lawyer!!!

That's a good point! I'm sure you saw on the other thread that no one there who posted was able to get brunch on that one sea day . . .

Exactly, Chris also has a bunch of us booked into a private room if she is able to get it, and I think most if not all of us have backup Palo brunch reservations that we will need to cancel.

I sure hope at least a few of us get the private dining room which would open a lot of spaces for everyone!!!:yay:

Thanks for giving it the old DCL try!!!:woohoo: :woohoo: Maybe if they do read the comments..........something will change.::yes:: I am still holding on to mine too!!:rolleyes1

Well, then you should give some attention to the possibility of a Pirate Pass Photo Sharing Site

Maybe I can share John's photos.:cool1: My pictures turn out as bad as I type and spell!!:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: Did you see my Nemo cartoon for you!!:confused3

I'm sure once you get onboard you will be able to get a reservation! Don't be too worried about it yet! Dh and I didn't even try to go during our first 2 cruises.
Our last cruise (the 10nt Southern) we were in a Cat 1 (you can have Palo delivered to a Cat 1) and we only ate at Palo once because we didn't want to miss dinner with our family & tablemates! Dinner was that much fun every night! LOL!

ATTENTION ATTENTION
Okay you scurvy dogs and wonderful wenches it be time to make sure you have all your Pirate gear ordered as the days are drawing nearer till we once again take over the Magic , and what kind of Pirates would we be if we weren't easy to identify , it will also help if you be a tad bit rum soaked and cant find your way back to your quarters , a fellow pirate may help you out if he or that wonderful wench knows you be a Pirate ....So make sure you get your Wrist bands here Pirate Wristbands

And dont you forget you will be needing the Official Pirate cruise shirt's both for embarkation and for Panama Canal crossing day - Those Pirates that be having a hard time remembering , It be Black for embarkation Day and White for Panama Canal Crossing Day , So take that mouse thing and click on this to order Order Pirate Shirts here

That's what a CM said yesterday.

Is there a Pirate Palo Brunch that we can join in on? What is Palo Tea anyway?

Also when I called yesterday I asked if the CM had heard any of the complaints about Acapulco. He said no and said to check the DisBoards :rotfl:. I told him that's where I was reading the complaints.
