All clearance merchandise was an additional 60 % off the reduced price. Yep:cool1: :cool1: I saved John more money. :lmao: :lmao: I will post later but about 75 to 80 % off of things. I had an addtional 15% coupon too!!! $12.50 pjs for kids were $2.00 and I did manage to find a few CJS things for my pirate bedroom when we move to Florida!!:woohoo: :woohoo:

I told folks in chat, but figured everyone else would be interested too.

DS went back to school this week. :cool1:
And lasted all day, every day. :cool1: :cool1:

He was in school more this week than he has been in the last 2 months.

He's in an awesome class now. Only 7 (maybe 8) kids. One teacher and 2 aides. They kids are all working at their own level, so no trying to keep up wth the rest of the class. The teacher starts off each day with a Life Skills session. She checks in with each person to see what their emotional state is. And she works on skills for anger management, socialization, etc.

The kids earn points throughout the week and Friday is always an easier day than the rest. They can spend their points for little trinkets or save up for bigger ticket items like no homework or computer time. They also spend points throughout the week if they misbehave or curse in class.

We're hoping to get him caught up so he doesn't have to repeat the grade. Since his curriculum is individualized he won't have to do a ton of repetition work. He'll just have to do enough to show that he understands the concept being taught. So it won't take as much work to get him to the level he needs to be at.

We're still dealing with other issues. But at least school is no longer the biggest issue.

I was there last night. Got a Tink shirt, a Mickey serving spoon set, and 2 mini fans that have light up phrases when you turn it on. And, not on clearance, but on sale 2 sets of 5 trading pins for $10 each. Can't beat that for traders.

That's FANTASTIC Monica!

Okay Stace....I'm gonna remember that if I hear you say "nice bow" to me!

Guess I'd better be careful when giving away my secrets.

But I have a feeling I won't need to be saying that about any of the women here!!
princess:

Stace - lucky the tag fairy doesn't come around anymore or you might have found yourself with some type of "HAS A NICE BOW!"
phrase in your tags! :lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2:

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
I gave up even thinking about tags a long time ago. I got mine years ago, when I was posting on the Disneyland Boards. Haven't seen hide nor tail (nor wand) of the tag fairy since then.

Monica, thanks for sharing. That is really, really wonderful news.

Who are you kidding??? No seriously, That is great news Stacey!!!!:cool1: :woohoo:

Hey.... ...I got exercise today!!! I cleaned our apartment in anticipation of our next guests. I went up and down the spiral staircase at least 6 times!! That counts, doesn't it??

Ever since The Children's Place took over all the Disney Stores (except the ones at WDW & Disneyland) ours doesn't have clothing for adults anymore, and it doesn't have very many for kids. It has games, toys, videos, etc....and costumes....but that's about all. Not even very many plush any more. :sad1:

Well this is becoming more real by the day. The March DL meet & greet is just around the corner, the diet is working :worship:

So to celebrate (paid the taxes), I went out and got a new Canon 40D body :cool1:

sideby_40d.jpg

Now all my pics of the TOAL will be perfect :rotfl2:

Andy

:woohoo:

I am finally taking mine out for a test drive today. Finally got all mine insured - if you tend to have accidents or any walk-by granny's with big bags - I highly suggest you get it insured - I got mine insured at Ritz Camera - Nationwide (used to be Wolf Camera) for 3 years and covers EVERYTHING but theft. Must have something to turn in. Water, fire, etc.

Congrats on the new cameras!

That's the same camera I'm looking at. Please let me know how you both like it.

Ours is the same way - every once in a while you can find stuff for adults but not too often.

The right teacher can make a world of difference. My dd's school have a "Token" economy. They get paid McKinley dollars for handing in assignments, having planners signed, etc. If they cut up they have to pay. The biggie seems to put downs. If a student puts doen another student they have to pay the person they put down. Once a month they have a store and can get things.

Monica, I am so happy to hear that. I think having your child "happy" in their school environment really helps in everything else. It is just like an adult being miserable in their job.:goodvibes
