Someone please tell me to stop buying dresses. It is tax free weekend in TN and I bought four more! I actually bought one and took it back before I even left the mall because I convinced myself I'd never wear it again. However, I couldn't do the same with the others.... ughh. I bought DH a beautiful pasta pot at Williams Sonoma so that I wouldn't feel so bad buying so much for myself

What is the party for?

The new Twilight book is coming out tonight at midnight. I was going ot post a picture of the girls all dressed up but, my laptop doesn't have a CF slot...so, I'll do it tomorrow when I'm on my regular computer - I'm too lazy to walk to that room tonight!

According to the weather report I just saw the next few days are going to be: 105, 106 107 (heat index of above 110) and then 99. That is crazy hot! I really would like my electric bill to be 3 digits and not 4.

I know what you mean!!! How many days is that for over 100 this year so far?? 25??? And it's been so humid!! I couldn't figure out how we could get rain twice in one day and it was still over 100!!!

It's starting to feel like the summer of 1980!!! I had a newborn that summer!!!

So will David and Helen surprise us and be on the cruise???

I don't think so... He asked her how long we were going to be in WDW after the cruise -- to see if we could meet up.

Alana is so excited for tonight! We got her hair trimmed today and the stylist put her hair up in a roll thingy on the back of her head! Didn't even charge us for that! I painted her nails too. Ours is prom theme too. We're taking her best friend. I'll just be happy hanging out at B&N for a couple hours! Have a Starbucks, pastry and book and I'm set!

I would enjoy that! DD & her friends are all 16/17 and then 24dd is with them so... I'm not needed.

Does anyone know what restaurants are in the Ports of Call at San Pedro? I have some relatives that would like to come down and see the ship off. I told them that I know there are restuarants there...Anyone know?

Ports of call restaurant was really great! You can sit outside, right on the water. We went there specifically to wave as the Magic cruised by. The food can be a bit pricey, but there were families there waving to their friends and family on the ship. My Mother will be there when we sail.

Do you think it would be possible to book a dummy date onboard for a cruise on the Magic, but eventually have the booking moved to one of the new ships?

Although I suspect I'm late to answer - and thus am duplicating the reply - I wanted to say ...

... why, of COURSE you can do this - exactly as you've described!

On another note... we just got in from a last minute dash to Disneyland and CA. The crowds were moderate to light - however, traffic was awful. So it took me a little longer to get there than I had hoped. At any rate - we managed to get in that new Toy Story ride in CA, and we did the California Dreaming movie with Whoopie Goldberg, then caught the Electric Light Parade before running over to DL for a nominal view of fireworks off main street. Before we got in a short 35 minute line for Nemo.

And that's all we had time for from 6:15PM to 11:15PM.... not bad for 5 hours in the parks, eh? On the drive home we stopped in Chinatown and picked up some take out.

So - in the end we fully off loaded the car and have the kids in bed by 1:50AM... this was mildly nuttty to have made the run down to the parks on a friday afternoon, but everyone slept going down and coming home. Plus the drive home in the late evening was mildly pleasant from my POV! The freeways were lite and everything looks so different late nite...

Mine haven't even been printed yet. I guess someone screwed up the "back to back" notes on mine. My UPS guy is an idiot so they need to get here before I leave or who knows what will happen. I was told today if they haven't been shipped by next week, we can put a rush on it.

My first set came yesterday and my set for the 5-day came today, so I am doing the happy dance as well!
