Thanks for the birthday wishes for Megan. She has not managed to wake up yet. I will show her all her good wishes.
It is very hard for me to not get emotional. At this time 12 years ago I was carefully watching every person coming in my hospital room waiting for them to tell me she did not make it.

I keep forgetting things.
I was so excited to see my shipping notice on the shirts. The fact that y'all went to so much trouble and too time out of your life to do this is just a testament to the great group of people going on the TOAL.

I look forward more to receiving the shirts than my Disney store order.

I did not even think about Last Call. There is one about 10-15 mins from me. since I am not having any luck anywhere else, I will check out LC.

I would be afraid to buy something at a store called "Last Call".

I'm imagining I'd try it on in the store, thinking I look great in it. Of course, the colored lights and disco ball are hiding all of my flaws. So, I buy it and leave the store only to realize I look like I'm trying to shoplift a bag of oranges.

Coral....I was just kidding. "Last Call" just reminds me of back in the day when you are at a club thinking you look really great, and then shortly after "Last Call" the bright lights come on and the beer goggles come off. Remember those days?

Ahhh!!! I have to say in 5 1/1 years of college and grad school I never heard the words "Last Call" before. Not that I did not spend plenty of time in bars, just not a night owl.

Give me a break! It is obvious that you are attempting to make light of a serious issue that has affected not just one, but several people who have posted on this thread. Do you think that Stacey is joking about her experience? Have you ever been at the wrong end of a gun held by someone who is threatening your life? Unfortunantly I have and there is nothing there that is possible to turn into a joke. The rest of the people who have contacted me are afraid that if they post their thoughts they will be targeted by the group. They are the ones who made me aware of this new graphic and unfortunantly I can't say that I am surprised. It has offended more than one person who has been personally affected by gorillas ...the terrorist ones which are the origin of this graphic no matter what is claimed ...and one has even lost a family member after they were abducted. They are now being alienated by this insensitive attempt at humor. Their feelings are probably of no concern but I feel the need to let you know about them because they do not feel that they can speak up for themselves here. One person has actually been told in the past that they need to keep their personal views off the thread and use pms to contact someone they do not agree with. I find the whole situation very sad. Noone should be made to feel like they have been slapped in the face when they come to the thread or see it on the main board in one of your posts, which is what this graphic represents to those who are offended by it. Please consider their feelings and reconsider its use.

That's funny K...I thought Stace, Pbader, Lbgraves, and Disneyfan68 were all participating members, there names are on half the lists.....

Whats also funny is that you can say this, but heaven forbid if someone says something distasteful about your situation....

It has nothing to do with "stirinf up trouble" just a little common courtesy and respect for EVERYONE who wants to participate in the group...
