Good Morning everyone!!! 9 weeks to go!! By this time 9 weeks from now I hope to be somewhere in Virginia. We are driving from PA and will leave Saturday early, early. We are staying in Jacksonville, FL Saturday night before sailing and then will head to the port Sunday morning!!!

It is freezing here in PA today!! It was only 23 degrees when I woke up. We are planning on seeing "Flushed Away" this afternoon. I know it's not Disney, but we have to spread our horizons sometimes!! We really want to see Santa Claus 3, but it's still a little early to get into that Christmas spirit! Have a great day everyone!!! Enjoy the weekend!

Hi there Mickey'sfriend, I'm sorry I don't know your real name (I'm Mandy by the way).

I get very excited when I think about what I'll be doing just before the Cruise, as 9 weeks today it will be my birthday. We will be stopping at the Pop Century and I will be celebrating with a breakfast with Lilo and Stitch at the Polynesian - I'm so excited, I can't wait !!

Mandy :)

Will be leaving on that Saturday too probably around 6:00am (i'm guessing as my Dad is driving he sets the time) We have a ten hour drive and we will be staying at the Raddison. Is any one else staying there? Then we will take the shuttle to the ship the next morning and probably be there around 10:00. My grandparents and Aunt Sue and Uncle Tim are flying down that day. Aunt Deb and uncle Dan will be riding with us but they will probably be in a seperate car. For my family this is pretty much what we did last time. I can't wait :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

Morning, ladies. I'm Kim by the way. :wave2: Mandy, your b-day celebration sounds great!! We will actually be spending 2 days at POP after the cruise and we were thinking of having breakfast with Lilo and Stitch while we were there, too!!!!! The kids don't know anything about it. Santa is bringing WDW tickets for Christmas! :woohoo:

Suzi, I wish we only had a 10 hour trip. Our drive will be about 16 hours over 2 days. We drove the summer of 2005 and it was easy, even with 3 kids. We didn't hesitate to drive again for this trip. My parents are driving and my sister is flying in. Both are staying near the port, but I'm not sure exactly where.

Hi Kim, we've never been to the Poly before so it will make a lovely change. We will be at the Pop Century for a couple of days after the Cruise too (we fly home on the 13th Jan). It's my hubby's birthday on the 12th and we're having breakfast at Chef Mickey's (we love it there  )

Hi Suzi - We're hoping to get to the terminal for 10am too, we love to get there nice and early to soak up the atmosphere

Mandy :)

No time to catch up on the reading. I will do that when I get home.

I just thought I'd check in while I had the chance.

I'm sitting in my son's new apartment. :thumbsup2

Gotta go.

Talk later.

Hi All

Sorry I haven't posted for a while...been busy as usual, we the 3 sisters :dance3: took the parents to WDW and stayed at the WL, we had a great time. :woohoo: DH and I are planing to take the RV there for 3 nights to stay at WCG next week.

9WEEKS!!! We :dance3: are very excited about the cruise. SWHNN and I are thinking of spending the night before the cruise at Disney...but not sure yet ( I think it actually makes our drive longer).

SWHNN and I are finally going to (try) to get serious about the weight loss challenge :confused3 I love food!!

Hope everyone had a great weekend! Chat more later :grouphug:

yea 9 weeks! :Pinkbounc
I expect hollyann will join the weight-loss challenge too - we just haven't told her about it yet. Anyway, it will be tough, but I went shopping this evening and did not, I repeat, did NOT buy any junk food. Ugh, I am not sure if I can do this! I  food too, especially junk food! Plus, I am likely to put whatever weight I lose right back on when I'm on the cruise. oh well...
Mary

Hey 3 Sisters :dance3:

Glad you had a great time in WDW, I'm so jealous that you live so close that you can take short trips whenever you can. Good luck with your weight losses :wizard: :wizard:

Morning!....

I love your picture in you siggie....Mandy...

I wish I had a big pine tree to do that with.....BUT this year I have thought about putting lights up around my new deck....I think it will look cool!...We will see..If I do, Ill have to get DHs help...He's not always real gong ho about putting up lights outside.....and I do ALL the decorating inside....

I have to say I cant complain too much though, because he likes to do the cooking for the holiday dinners.... :teeth:

Hello,
Mary and Susan

So glad you had a nice time at the world! :thumbsup2 ...

Susan,
Youll have to let me know how you like the RVing part of it when you get back from this next trip...
I cant wait to do that with ours...
BUT its a long drive pulling an RV(18 hrs. for us)...So I have a feeling that DH will put it off until he feels more confident about it...
We have only taken ours out twice this year...and both times were fairly close...

We had a little scare last night ...as My DGKs and DS were leaving ...Albert took off into the night....
well we all spent the next 15 mins. or so calling him...Let me tell you Its impossible to see a little semi black dog on a very dark night....and he went right into the wood after something?....
He did finally come back to my DH...BUT It worried me BIG time...I thought for sure he'd be gone and not be able to find his way back .... :guilty:
It's so bad how they worm there way into your heart...and you worry about them like they are your child... :sad2:

Well I hope you all had a good weekend ...I got alot of my summer stuff put away for the winter....and this always makes me happy to get it all done and not have any of it hanging over my head...to worry about....

Im off to feed my Mom breakfast...

I, on the other hand, like my meat to come packaged on styrophome with plastic wrap and a bar code and price tag! :rotfl:

:rotfl2: That's hysterical! :rotfl2:

Same goes for CW's family! They don't waste a bit of the venison. If they have too much stored, then they donate the meat to Hunters for the Hungry in our area!

Hi Betsy

The piccies are great aren't they, I get all my smiley's/graphics from this website http://bestsmileys.com/pageindex.htm

What a shock about your dog running off, I would've been worried too. Pets become such a big part of the family and we worry about them as much as other family members. Glad he came back safely

Speak to you soon

Mandy :)
