I think 9:30 sounds good- do you want to do a roll call? LOL We want to head over and enjoy the National park- the pictures look really nice.

There will be 5 of us going to Chakkanaab in Cozumel. DD and DS are doing the royal swim at 3:30pm. We are looking forward to the park and all it has to offer! We plan to snorkel there too. We're bringing our own snorkel gear (minus fins - we'll rent those there) to save on cost.

Oh, great! Thanks! We could only book palo brunch on this day @ 10:00.. the girls need to be there half hour before the sail. I wanted to make sure we will have enough time to get there!

We're doing palo brunch that morning too at 10am! What time are you parasailing? 1pm? If weather and wind conditions are good, this will be the time we will go for. Just hope my brunch will be settled by then to go on that boat!

The Fury office is literally steps from the ship (at least that is what they emailed me). We are also doing this excursion, but I am going to wait till we get there to book. DS 12 wants to go up solo, and it will be dependent on wind conditions because of his weight (he's 95 lb). I read that its easy to book a walk up, and we want to visit the state park there too (Ft Zacchary) and do a short private cab tour. So we are going to try to do it right after we get off the ship, or right before boarding if possible.

FYI - You might want to book it sooner vs. later.

The maximum weight per tandem flight is 500 lbs. The minumum weight per person is 50 lbs. The crew can video you flight and put it on a cd for $20 (cash). You can decide once you get on the boat if you would like them to film your flight. You can also take a camera up with you and get some great shots, just make sure it's an inexpensive camera because if you drop it it's gone forever.

Speaking of Brunch, is there any more information on a group brunch? When I booked the cruise all brunches were sold out.

We whould know any day now. They assign them 30-35 days in advance.

I talked to Deb at The Fury and she said that Deb & Jayde can go with us! We are going to have such a great time! We can take pictures of one another... We have to be there at 1:30 for our 2:00 Parasailing, where are we all going to meet?

Diane or anyone, do you know how close the fury office is to the ship?

There are 2 departure points... anyone know which one we are suppose to go to? Duval Street - Fury Departure Point 2 & Westin Marina - Fury Departure Point 1 & Surf Shack (this one is closer to port).

All Snorkel, Parasail and Champagne Sunset trips depart from the marina at the Westin Resort, 245 Front St. Check in is at the "Fury Surf Shack" located on the pier behind the Westin Resort.

I have emailed Fury several times for diferent questions: here is their response about weight, solo flying, and me going as observer only. When you guys booked on line, did you have to pay full fare even if you are not parasailing to be on the boat with your kids?

We recommend children weight 50 lbs to parasail. The children will have to fly with an adult. Our parasailing and snorkeling boats are conveniently located on the same dock (Pier B) as where the Disney ship docks. You will literally be just steps away from us. OK, I am sorry to change the subject....hope you don't mind... but I have been thinking about the almost 14 year olds (those who are not within 30 days of turning 14...as in my DD who turns 14 on August 22) and The Stack.... I know she has her heart set on going there... I know I have read other threads where people said they are not that strict about enforcing the age.. of course DCL has her birthdate in our reservation. This is our first Disney cruise and our first cruise of any kind with our kids.. I don't know what all you have to do when you check in... is that where she would be told which group she would be in? Can anyone kind of describe the process to me? I just don't want there to be any surprises for her...or us.. know what I mean?? I am hoping they sort of leave it up to us ...but maybe not??

Hey, everyone! HAPPY FRIDAY(finally)!!! I am SO ready for school to get out for the year...it seems that all the teachers are trying to cram in as much as they can before the end of the year (in addition to the spring concerts, awards/sports banquets, parades, etc!). I am beginning to feel like a lurker on this thread these days.......


I called Fury this week and added my brother-in-law to our group.


We are still planning to get off the ship in Cozumel and do Paradise Beach, too.


I have bought my gowns for both this cruise and our last one off ebay. Both were designer gowns and I saved big $$$!!! I figured I could get over the "not knowing where it's been" phobia when I wear a $450 gown that I got for $50!!!! I also just bought a suit for my DS(9) off ebay...no sense in spending too much when he will probably only wear it 2-3 times before he outgrows it!

I think it is a "maybe." I've read that 13's could kind of go either way. It might also depend on the makeup of the kids that are actually using the stack if that makes sense -- if there are mostly younger teens vs lots of older teens.. there's a big difference, IMO, between almost 14 and 18. We have a 'wait & see' attitude on this to be sure.
