You are SOOOOOOOO lucky. My ds doesn't give ANY warning. Well, he *might* look at you and say "I don't feel good" immediately followed by the puke. But most times it comes out of nowhere. :confused3 :lmao:

I once made the mistake of asking Erin when she lookef green, "Honey, do you think you have to throw up?" She just looked at me and calmly puked on my feet. Lovely...

Too funny!!

I haven't decided if I am going to pack any beach towels yet or not. I did on the last cruise, but we had a balcony to leave the towls out to dry on. This time we are in an inside cabin :sad1: , so I am afraid I will have a hard time getting them to dry out. Need to figure out a way to recognize us Texans -- hmm, Maybe a Dallas Cowboys baseball cap????

And the boots with the formal won't be obvious? :lmao:

When Nick was about 3 we went to the 60th anniversary party for Mike's grandparents. He was dancing around, having fun, looking fine....then came over to me and asked to be picked up....so I did. And within seconds he had puked on me.....all down the front of my dress! Luckily, Mike had driven separate, so I got Nick and myself as cleaned up as possible with paper towels and then drove him home. Poor little thing was sick as a dog that night and couldn't hold down one sip for the whole night. :(

Oh, yeah, three days later was Christmas and Mike was sick as a dog!!!! The whole family had ham and cheesy potatoes and all the trimmings for dinner. Mike had lime jello. :lmao:

We need to let them e-mail... Shelby is convinced that there are only teens on this cruise... getting very jealous of DD13's ability to post...

Maybe we should start a 'Tag-a-longs' thread for the 9 and unders.... Probably be like every other toy... they will play/post for 15 mins and then lose interest! princess:

Great idea!

Let us know what you decide....I know how these animals become one of the family! One of the readons I have resisted getting a dog, is dealing with this very issue! We cant even get someone to keep our kids for a few hours, let alone an animal for a few days while we go on vacation ! So lucky you, that you at least have options!

We're sending Abby to "camp" - as a rescued dog, it'll be interesting to see how she does, or if she'll feel abandoned because we haven't left her overnight. She will have playtime and our friends' dog will also be there part of the time and they know each other from "school" - maybe we can ask for them to have playtime together...

Good morning everyone!
Looks like another beautiful day here. Lots to do around the house today since I did none of it yesterday.

OhioMinnie -- one reason it took us so long at the hair place is all of us had special stuff, except for the son. He has really thick hair (she thinks that she should have charged him for 3 cuts). It had gotten a little long, so she spent extra time on him, he decided to go shorter now because he really doesn't want a haircut right before we leave. I think he will need it anyway, because his hair grows so fast. Me, I have to have a special treatment on my hair before anything is done to it, because it is so fine. Ashley had really long hair and she went with a new shorter style. SHe styled both of ours afterwards as well. Even with Ashley's new cut, it is still pretty long too.

Anyone know where to buy that SafeSea?? stuff. Is that the name of the stuff for sea lice?? trying to check things off my list and since I live in the desert, it is not sold around here.

I am afraid we are transplants. You will be more likely to find DH in a Razorback hat. Shelby is our only true Texan and she is campaigning for a move to Hawaii. :rotfl:

Oh this is my dd8, Maggie to a T - our Native Texan wants to live on the big island and train horses. The rest of us are Illinois transplants...

There's at least one one other Dallas area family - she (BibbidyBobbidyBoo) posts every so often.

Some of my favs are murder mysteries. I read on average a book a day. I read all kinds; My BF calls me a "book ho". Not very nice, but...

That's not the label I get - but, I too average about a book a day...My favorite vacation involves the three Bs - Book, Beach and Boring...

All four of us in our family are Native Texans. I have lived in other states, but came back here 21 years ago. Hubby was born in Corpus and then me and both kids born right here in El Paso

Good morning, Pam! I bought it from their website. I think it took less than a week to get it delivered. I can pull the paperwork if you want, let me know!

Hi Laura - thanks -- do you remember their website? and do I have it spelled right. If I do, I can search for it.

I hope he finds a very patient wife (or maybe outgrows it by then!) :lmao:

o.k. This post should come with a warning....I just took a bite of my bagel....
