My what a chatty group last night - I had over 10 pages to read.

We are DVC as well but we have no plans to sell ours. We love it! Especially the DVC special events like the cruises.

Amanda - I would definately ask for a 1st floor room. We've stayed at OKw twice. First time we were on a 3rd floor room in a non elevator building (I think only a few of the new ones have elevators). Going up those stairs after a long day is hard. Last time we stayed we were on the ground floor and loved it. It is a great resort, but I still prefer my Boardwalk home.

We don't own books any longer, except for the HP series. I used to find it hard to get rid of my 'old friends', but since I started working at the library, I don't feel the need to own them any longer. The downside to that is finding something to bring to read. Oh, I do have those smutty romance novels...

I was surprised to find so many pages to read when I go up this morning. I thought that I'd forgotten to bookmark before I signed off yesterday!

We took a cat over to the dairy farm where DD works a few weeks ago. It had been dumped here, and we'd had it for almost a year. I never did like it. Caleb named her Lily. DD called last night and asked if we ever really looked at Lily. I told her not really. She said that Lily should be named Louie! I normally know a little bit more about the animals that we have around our house, but he/she had too much fur to notice without getting up close and personal .

Everyone is talking about a pool party at the Radisson? You can tell that we're not night owls. We'd be the party poopers and go to bed before 9:00! I said something to DH about Grills on Sat. morning, but that's too early for him. Might be too early for me with the time change, too. I'm the early riser in the house.

Oh, yeah. Maybe we'll be able to stay up until 10 pm with the time zone difference .

I grew up on a farm and I remember lots of kittens being born over the years. My dad would flip them over and figure out their gender. He always told us "yup, see, you can tell by looking at the bottom of their feet." For many years I believed that you could tell the sex of a cat by the bottom of it's feet.

I just looked. Mowana's feet say he's a boy. or was at one time!!!

I'm thinking that I'm not going to bring our laptop on the cruise. I'm just going to bring extra flash cards for our camera and just keep all of our receipts in one place in a journal/log. Much easier to carry that around. I figure DS will have his gameboy to keep him occupied and won't need any computer games.

I'm here. Doing some research on exterior shutters. We held ours up yesterday and they look....stupid. They are not tall enough. The guy had said "they should be as tall as your window, NOT the opening." But they look dumb. And I went for a drive yesterday and saw 40 other houses with shutters and none of them are as small (proportionally) as ours.

I think I'm going to have to put my foot down and demand bigger shutters. Our house is looking SO nice I don't want ppl to wonder why our shutters are so small!!

Not sure what we'll do. We definitely have enough CF cards for the camera. And if we are really desparate, Shuttes will burn them to a CD. Don't need games other than the Nintendo DS. The only issue is Mike runs my dad's website and downloads the orders. Spring is a busy time for him (with camping season gearing up) and it's always a big question if we can leave the orders go for two weeks. what to do, what to do....

Our indoor cat used to be a boy, also. Our outdoor cat is almost 18 yrs old. When we first got her, I kept waiting for her to be old enough to get spayed. I noticed she was 'getting fatter', took her to the vets to find out that she was weeks away from having a litter. I must admit that we got her a 'kitty abortion' and spayed at the same time. Vet said she would have had 8 large kittens, and she was too young and small to have them.
