I got my travel kit in the mail today!

We did too! Found it in the mailbox this afternoon.

Now if I could just find the rest other $4,000 to pay for the cruise, we'd be in business :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Good thing I was on early seating I can't afford to bid. I'm sure all her best stories come from late seating dinner.
I think you're right about that. Just imagine it: Pot sitting, captain ogling, carafe toting, finger pointing (especially if we have another "Princess" in our section) and general frivolous activities galore!!!

Can't wait!!

My Cruise Travel Kit

Did anyone else get this in the mail today. Nice package that has a cover letter stating our reservation number, ship and sail day. It also lists when final payment is due, when reservations can be made, and when we sail.

Plus there is a full color booklet that has info on shore excursions, quick tips, gifts, setting sail and formalwear. Very nice!

I got mine today, it sure was fun to receive it and start dreaming. :sunny:

nah, no problem - just didn't realize a PM would also be filtered but, makes sense that it would be on the same server...

So that is what this server is spending his time doing, who would have figured he's filtering all the PM's and making everything else slow.

Today is the official beginning of our Winter of Fun.....gymnastics competition.

We are in Atlanta on Friday for Lisa. Leave tonight and back on Saturday morning. 14 hours of road time. Oh the joy. It is such a quick trip that we are not able to do any mini-meets.
Matt is home alone so I hope he enjoys his parties. :scared1:

Where are they holding the meets in Atlanta??

Hey, we just booked a trip to Myrtle Beach in August. Kinda a last minute thing. I've never vacationed in SC. Drove through a lot, but never stayed. Excited! And, we're driving. This should be an event. Anybody have any tranquilizers??? :rotfl2:

Maria

I normally take the kids to Myrtle Beach for 4th July week and DH usually joins us some of the time, we have a timeshare there and it is just our hangout at the pool week, every second year MIL is here so she joins and some of my family, we have a 12 sleeper so normally people coming and going.
The kids love the rides at the family Kingdom and we love broadway on the beach.
You will have fun.

Thanks for the words of confidence. My hubby will be in that group too. I'm not sure if we'll meet anyone beforehand or not. Unless we can get a mini-meet in ATL some time between now and then. We probably won't be at the port the night before since Emily won't get out of school until that Fri. We'll either drive down 1/2 way or if we can leave early, I'm sure we'll stay with my sister in Lake Mary, FL.

Ang

I have booked the Radisson, we will pick the kids up from school at around noon and head on down, it normally takes us around 8 hrs and we will stop for dinner somewhere, probably won't make the meet but a mini meet in ATL sounds great.

It's BEAUTIFUL here in the south! I just went out for a brisk walk and it is gorgeous outside - more like spring rather than WINTER. Weather.com says that we are currently at 62 degrees. I could have sworn that it was warmer than that.

Ang

Just hope it hold out thru Saturday, it is my 'surprice' 40th at the clubhouse, DH just cannot keep a straight face so I found out but no-one knows I know.
He is having it catered and I am not going to be doing any setup or cleanup. :rotfl2:

Irene - Docs for our Jan 28 'modified' western on Magic. If anyone needs anything let me know. DCL has changed the tix. Now only booklet with all three names. Sure makes things easier.

Sue

Have a great one and don't think of us land bound people for a minute!! :rotfl:

Here's what I have gathered. You have to be staying at a DVC resort on points to use the dining plan (and after April 1), and it must be purchased for everyone staying in the room, for the length of the stay. I haven't figured out if there's a minimum stay yet. It costs $37.99 per day, per adult. Each day, you get credits for one Table Service meal (appetizer, entree, dessert, na beverage); one counter service meal (combo meal, dessert, na beverage);and one snack (ice cream, water etc.). California Grille is a "Signature Dining" restaurant (no DUH), and it counts for two Table Service credits. I don't think V&A is on the plan at all.

Oh, and I think maybe it's only for DVC members. If you book a separate room for a guest, they can't get it.

So I gather that is the same price for the kids too???

Diana - thanks...we just don't use DVC points to book rooms....we use them to cruise....Now if it applied to V/A???????? :flower3:

We do the same but I think the kids need a trip to WDW next year, they seem to be taking the cruises for granted, like a minimum of 1 a year is expected!!!

In preparation of our cruise in May, we're heading to WDW this Sunday for a few days. We've been on two Disney cruises with our DD5 but not the parks until now. If screaming for 30 minutes when she found out where we were going is any indication of the fun we'll be having, it's going to be a great trip!
