Irene, do you know the release date for this movie? If it releases that week, we probably will. I don't think they show them early, though. Wouldn't that be fun to watch in the big theater?

I've been reading about the new dining plan for DVC members. It would be a good deal for us since we're planning to dine at California Grille the night we arrive. Only problem, we cannot possibly eat sushi, filet AND dessert for three. Not even Kevin. Well, maybe. And the teen would try. OK, I couldn't do it!

On the dining plan for DVC members - what is the scoop? Do you have to use your DVC to book the room as well? Do you have to buy tickets as well? We never do these things as we are spoiled Fla. residents, but we are DVC members....?????

We are dining at CG next weekend...I'll keep an eye out for the best stuff! And report back....

So what kind of hops goes into Bud??? Do they use Hallertau?

I used to know... back when I had to take my test (yes, we get tested on that stuff)... but I seem to have 'temporarily disremembered'... my job doesn't have much to do with product any more, except for what we are giving away as part of a sponsorship... and at that point, no one cares what's in it...

Next time you visit one of OUR theme parks, check out the new "Brewmaster's Club", which has replaced the old 'beer schools'... its now a tasting session with food/beverage pairings, upscale atmosphere, and an entire flight of sampling opportunities, rather than just pouring you two of your favorites. (for adults only, with a separate room for the kids to hang out and play). I haven't been through the new 'experience' yet, but will next month when I'm there for a meeting.

Mine too... and he's BEEN to one mini-DIS meet already... I think he just thinks I'm crazy, and these are all my imaginary friends... (OK, so he's got the first part right...) I seriously doubt he'll ever post here... and definitely not til after Speedweeks and BikeWeek are dead and gone... which puts it somewhere in mid-March... by then, I'll be PACKING!!!!! (yes, I'm serious... I pack early)

"Cars" opens the week AFTER our cruise... Christopher has been obsessed with that movie since he saw the previews on the Incredibles DVD... he's got it marked on his calendar... I'd love it if they showed that one just a few days early!!!!!!

Well, we still haven't made our final payment, and we don't have airfare to book, but I DID book the kennel for Gretchen today... so we are one step closer to being there!!!!!!

Here's what I have gathered. You have to be staying at a DVC resort on points to use the dining plan (and after April 1), and it must be purchased for everyone staying in the room, for the length of the stay. I haven't figured out if there's a minimum stay yet. It costs $37.99 per day, per adult. Each day, you get credits for one Table Service meal (appetizer, entree, dessert, na beverage); one counter service meal (combo meal, dessert, na beverage);and one snack (ice cream, water etc.). California Grille is a "Signature Dining" restaurant (no DUH), and it counts for two Table Service credits. I don't think V&A is on the plan at all.

Oh, and I think maybe it's only for DVC members. If you book a separate room for a guest, they can't get it.

I know he was shaking his head in disbelief (edited to add - good naturedly..) and mumbling something about setting a good example for the kids on internet safety as we were leaving to bring Stacey and her family back to our house...but, he was a good sport and enjoyed the evening and is looking forward to meeting everyone based on the stories Stacey shared...

Although I'm not sure I want to travel with Stacey based on HER travel stories, especially her Guatemala story...
