I'm new to the board, My family of 6, and my sister and her husband will also be going. this is our 2nd 7 day cruise, we did the eastern last year, the same week. We had such a great time we booked again while on board!
I was wondering if anyone had any information on the Kohunlich Ruins Excursions we are debating between the 6.5 hr and the 4.5-5 hr one. any good suggestions?
We have 4 children:
Girl 17(will turn 18 on cruise)
Boy-girl Twins that are 14
and our youngest girl is 9.
Look forward to hearing from others who will be cruising at the same time, we will be staying at the Radisson for the 2 nights before the ship sails.

Welcome to our crazy gang. We have not really set a date as they have not been released. I am fairly new to the dis boards but I luckly caught up with what was going on and met some Disers onboard the first double dip cruise. We consists of me-Theresa; DH-Chris; DS-Andy(11); DS-Brian(8); DD-Maddy(3); DS-Matthew(1). We didn't do any excursions on this last cruise since we were san our DS-Andy who still had school so Chris and Brian just hung out with me and the kiddies.

On the 08 cruise our Matthew will be 3 and he will be going in the lab. This way we can do excursion and enjoy the t-bones and lobster at serenity bay.

Is it my imagination, or is the font different in our thread titles?


I couldn't get on here for a while, so I was looking around elsewhere.

The boys lost...but they did great. They played a team that not only had not lost a game, but no one had even scored against them. Our boys scored 10 runs...but the other team scored 16. If we'd had a full 9 innings (Little League only plays 6) we might have beat them, the guys were just finding their bats (hitting well) and gaining confidence.
But at least I won't be having 3 more weeks of baseball. But that also means I won't get my "vacation" in Fabulous Kingman, Arizona.

Glad to see you posting again. I know you posted your POC input but I totally forgot to ask about your surgery. All sounds well, which is glad to hear.

Matt seems to have a good head on his shoulders, great family to support him and, the best DIS friends ever!!!!

I forgot to say that I did think it was definitely sexier when she kissed Depp instead of always Orlando. I know- I'm naughty. He's naughty and she ain't supposed to be kissing him but well, what can I say. I like Depp way more than Orlando. LOL It was definitely a surprise, that's for sure!


Yeah, Matt is pretty great. I don't know if my kids will ever be that responsible, dependable, etc. LOL

Just curious- does your daughter go by Maddy or something else like "officially" or basically what I'm asking is was she in the club on our last cruise? Rita mentioned one of her friends named "maddy" on the last day of the cruise. That's why I ask.

First off welcome to the DIS and the DCL forums! As Tina mentioned we really haven't set a date for the cruise yet as the 2008 dates haven't come out yet. We're looking at doing either an early June Eastern cruise or maybe something else if Disney does anything special. We hope you will join us! I'm not sure what ruins excursions you are talking about - what port are they in?

Good Day and Welcome.....We went on the Double Dip Western this year. But if we head out on an Eastern, as is the present 2008 plan, buy who knows, you will not get to the Kohunlich Ruins....They are out of Costa Maya, no St. Thomas or San Maartin and 3 days at Sea....CC of course....

We did take the Chacchoben Mayan Ruins tour in Costa Maya and it was grand. I'll be glad to repost comments if you are interested.
