This increase was supposed to take effect today...the Disney web site still lists the old prices....is there ANY hope that this didn't happen? Doubtful I know but I'd love to hear from some one who is there now....

I prefer Disney and I choose to pay these things .. for those who disagree Universal and SeaWorld and lots of other choices are right across town..

Yes, please go and leave more room for my family and me!

I know that this opinion is unpopular, but, all I can say is hoorah! Six and Eight year olds riding around on their butts instead of getting exercise, in my mind, is almost criminal. We have a new generation of over-weight, lazy kids that expect everything to be done for them. The one's with the legitimate gripe are the one's with little tiny, young children. The first time I visited my kids were that age (6 & 8) and frankly it never even crossed our minds that a stroller would be necessary. And it wasn't. Taking a longer break is the answer, I'm sure.

If the cost of the motorized carts goes up there are places outside of Disney that rent them for very reasonable rates. It might cut down on the abuse of those as well.

I'm not sure it's true anyway unless they held a high pressure meeting and decided that the problems they were causing weren't worth the revenue. Ankle injuries alone could be mind boggling. If they don't rent them, they won't be liable.

Your opinion is definitely NOT unpopular! I totally agree with you as do a lot of others like me who have written Disney to complain about all the gridlock and wheeled traffic in the park. Lets hope that they (Disney) take additional steps to make people cut out the nonsense.

Yes, but at whose expense?.........families with 3 kids under age 4 who need the double and are on a budgeted vacation? $31- per day?? :scared1: When you're lugging three kids those ages and all their gear, it's extra difficult to drag the cumbersome double strollers on and off the buses. So the people creating the "nonsense" are making the other families suffer?

I cannot believe all the hateful people on these boards. I know Disney's decision has made us lose our "magic", but we have three choices-bring, rent or walk. I will BRING because I choose to let my very tall and skinny 5 1/2 yr old walk, so he doesn't whine and make EVERYONE lose their magic. It also helps us move quickly so we can see/do more.

So I will be in everyones way in the park and especially on the bus with my oversized double jogger. I am sorry, but this is my family's choice and I will let all of you make yours. But please try to keep your Disney Magic!!:hippie:

Can't we all just get along?!?!?

And on that note.. we've all had our say on this topic and the Theme Park moderating team agrees now it has pretty much run it's course.

As with EVERYTHING related to Disney - if something impacts your vacation experience or planning in a negative way -- it is STRONGLY encouraged you let Disney know about it via snail mail or email:

Walt Disney World Guest Communications

wdw.guest.communications@disneyworld.com

Further arguments here about who is and who is not eligible, needy or allowed to have access to a stroller will accomplish little but "angry up the blood" as Grandpa Simpson says.

Thanks,

Knox
