Oh my, do I need help - here's the scenario - Me, DH and DD (14) will be arriving at LAX at 11:15am on a Saturday in December. We will be leaving on the Wonder the following day for the 14 night Panama Canal cruise.
I was planning on renting a car for the day, then returning it to the airport in the morning and taking supershuttle to the Port.
What can we do for the day to take in the LA experience. My DD would like to see the beach, but I have no idea where to head. Any suggestions on touristy things to do for the day. Unless DL is open late that day, I don't want to spend the $$$ on a one day ticket.
We also need a hotel for the night, again have no idea where to look
