It's official....

After much debate about where to spend my, ahem...50th next year , the AMAZING rate I got for next August sealed the deal for us. GF, here we come again!!!

Same here We have been on the fence trying to decide between Poly and GF but given the deal, we chose GF. What are your dates? We are going Aug 16 - Aug 26 and planning a less hectic trip given the hot, muggy temps of August DH felt "robbed" our last trip to GF because he didn't get to lounge in the lobby and chill while listening to the piano or the band until our departure day. I swear the man is 47 going on 87 sometimes.....

I am excited to see what changes are being made to Gaspie's. Crossing my fingers for a wider variety of food selections and maybe a better flow for ordering/check-out. I hope they do not change the seating area. We love the tall booths

Is anyone going to be at the Grand Floridian that could pick me up the Gingerbread House pin. We were there on November 15 and my daughter was selected to open the Gingerbread house. I didn't know there was a special pin. I would like to get one and save it for her as a memory of this special occasion. I can paypal the money plus the cost to ship it to me. I would really appreciate it.

Pas showed me those rates. Gf GV was an amazing rate. I am considering it too

Getting turndown and chocolates makes it feel like CL too.

Celebrating a milestone birthday at Disney is the best! You will have a great time.

Thanks Trish...at first the girls really wanted a CL stay but I'd rather take the extra $$ and put it towards more signature dining and maybe a show or special tour and they agreed.

Right now, we are booked 8/12-8/19 although I'm sure I'll be adding an extra day or two . As for August...it is brutal so we really slow it down and spend a lot of time at the resorts and what's not to like about relaxing in the lobby and listening to the music??

Happy to say we just booked our 2nd stay at the Grand Floridian Aug 16-23, 2017! After our first stay there last year we loved it so much we had to return there again this year! Honestly one of our favorite parts was lounging in the lobby listening to the piano player & orchestra.
Countdown is on...269 days!!

We have dinner at 1900 PF on 12/1 with our 3 princes and 1 princess. (One of the princes is our GF baby from our 2014 trip). We aren't staying at the GF this time but I was hoping to pick up some yummy cupcakes they used to sell at Gaspy's. Anyone know where I can find some now?

I recall the last time Gaspy's was closed for refurb that there were still cupcakes offered in Mizner's (where Gaspy's was temporarily located).

On Saturday more than one CM at GF told us the tree is going up the day after Thanksgiving.
