Thank you for sharing your pictures Marlton Mom - they are absolutely amazing and are making me even more excited for my upcoming first stay at the BC :cool1:

Marlton Mom What beautiful pictures! :thumbsup2 Thanks for sharing them... I am getting more and more excited about our YC/BC stay this winter... Sorry to hear about that infestation though... ;)

YC CL lounge question...Do they serve the same basic morning and evening fare every day??? For example at the GF there are always bagels and oatmeal...but different breakfast buns and muffins each day...

Last July at BC, it was the same basic items every morning- oatmeal, fruit, hard boiled eggs, cereal, bagels and as you mentioned, different muffins and sweet rolls every day.

The coconut pineapple danish- Mmmmmmmm!

I took pictures of the "Danish of the Day". They may be in the picture thread of the CL lounge section of page 1.

Thank you everyone for all the wonderful comments about the photos and Mickey Waffle infestation. I miss that infestation the most during the weekend mornings.....

Marlton Mom-

Incredible, Incredible pictures!!!

:worship::worship::worship:

Thank you so much! I will put this link up on the first page under "Need to feed your fix for pix"

Thank you so much for providing the photos I asked for. In the very near future, I will be adding these to the front page.

First, I need to review my trip photos. I have just uploaded my pictures from memory cards to my computer. I have 2181 raw photos for a 5 day trip. Many are throwaways- I snap the picture and ask questions later! I don't do any postprocessing- I gets what I get.

I love digital!!!

I don't envy you. I still have a ton to go through from my trip. With all the stuff we Mom's have to take care of, all of us here on the board know to be patient and wait for your fabulous trip reports. Take it easy and rest up from your trip. We'll be crouching on the sidelines waiting to pounce once you post!

Fantastic pictures! Thanks for making this a happier Saturday. :goodvibes

Love how you captured the full circle of the windmill at night. Hard to leave it at just one comment as they are all so beautiful.

I believe you are inspiring me to learn more about my camera. I'll have to start really hanging out at the photography board.

I have to tell you that as far as photographing Disney is concerned the Dis Photography board has been extremely helpful. I highly recommend it as you can find camera advice as well as advice for shooting Disney subjects like the Fireworks or indoor rides.

Photography has been a lifelong passion of mine ever since I was a little girl. It's nice at this stage in my life to have the time to really work on it again and bump up my 'game'.

Thanks again to everybody for the love!

I just saw my e-mail and for whatever reason the Beach Club IPO department sent us another welcome letter. Well a couple of months ago I remember filling it out saying what time we expect to arrive, what mode of transportation we are using and etc. So should I fill it out again or do I just forget about it?

CR FAN--I just got mine last night too. I have had the trip booked for months and this was the first time I got it. I filled it out but since it is less than 35 days until my trip and I have already been emailing IPO there is not a lot I need from them.

Ditto. They've already booked everything for me and I received another welcome! Glitch in the system apparently.

I guess it could be a glitch. However before we are staying Club Level at the Boardwalk Inn and they share the same IPO department with the Beach Club. We filled out the same form and told them our requests, however we never got a second welcome letter from them. Although at least it's good to know we weren't the only ones who got another welcome letter after filling everything out.

Marltom Mom,Thanks for the wonderful pictures, I could just smell the lobby(sigh).Only 311 days to go:woohoo:

Note to self. Must get better camera for next trip

WsPrincess, CR Resort Fan 4 Life, & Nannette...y'all got me wonderin' and I hadn't even thought of it... We are booked in YC CL arriving 9/18 but haven't heard a peep from any IPO. Should I expect this? If so, how far ahead of our arrival? I booked thru a TA so not sure if that affects it. Not that I need the IPO to do anything for me. I have everything already booked as far as dining and such. We do want to book some fishing excursions but my hubby will likely do that himself. Curious.

When you make a reservation with a travel agent they basically own it until the day you check-in, so any thing sent from the IPO would go to them. Since we have always made our previous and current Club Level reservations ourselves we usually heard back from the IPO 1 - 3 months after the reservation was made, although that's also because we reserved well in advance. Plus I think since we didn't contact them right away that's when they e-mail us the form to fill out.

Just paid off our Sept. trip! :cool1: Only 57 days til we're at BC! :cheer2:

Cindy

Paid ours off today, too. Yacht Club in 56 days! :woohoo: See you in Storm Along Bay!!! :cool1:

Edit to add: we also got another welcome e mail from YC IPO yesterday. And they have already made all our ADrs & forwarded our itinerary to us, including 2 weeks ago.

I had a question for you Yacht Club experts. Anyone know why the first week of October seems to be completely booked? Is there some kind of conference happening?

Hi! I thought I would post just a couple pictures of our room at the Yacht Club. 3009, very long walk, but what a great view!! Big room too, the pictures don't do it justice!! I just wanted to show the view in the first picture, it was awesome!!

(first few pictures are view from California Grill observation deck)

Anyone have experience with YC CL lagoon view? I'm trying to decide if I should upgrade our garden view. We're only staying two nights. Is it loud over the lagoon? Is the view wonderful? Am I better just requesting and hoping for a gazebo view?

Hmm... Maybe not a glitch then. I was not aware that the Boardwalk Inn shared with Y/BC... I have learned something new today :) Anyway I've been meaning to post to you so this is a great time to do it!! DD and I will be staying DVC at BLT in November for 2 days! Have you stayed there?? DD26 really wanted to stay there so we are staying for 2 days before our YC Platinum trip and then going to our home resort AKL CL 1 bedroom for the last 2 days of our trip. While at BLT we have a one bedroom lake view. Any ideas what I should expect??? Should I request a certain tower?? I've been over on CR/BLT board but haven't really seen much about BLT. Can you share a little maybe?? I'm asking you based on your name :thumbsup2

Good Morning everyone! We are staying at the Beach Club Aug 23 -Sept 3. I thought I read on here that they are doing some kind of construction. Does anyone know what it is? TIA

We will be staying at the BCV post cruise 1 night.............:cool1:

Wondering the same thing about the status of construction at BCR!!!:surfweb::surfweb::surfweb:

Boards seem very quiet about the status of construction! Maybe thats' a good thing! The only thing I've been told by MS at DVC is that "workers will be present from 9-5"....:surfweb::surfweb:

Anyone have any updates????????????????????????????????????:confused::confused:

MUCH THANKS IN ADVANCE!!!!!!!!!!!!:woohoo:

Hi Everyone! Just booked August 3-10 at the YC Garden View. Never stayed in the EPCOT area before. Booked a Garden View and not sure what to request except high floor, no elevators, not near a smoking area. Would love your thoughts, pics and pros and cons on rooms. Thanks in advance for any and all suggestions.

Try to figure out what is more important and limit your request to one or two items. Since you are YC you don't have to worry about full balcony. So, high floor (only four available) more important than non-smoking (which really isn't a problem, but then your neighbor may use the balconey as a smoking area even though they are not suppose to). Close to lobby or far from elevator? Put too many requests on your reservation and you are sure to confuse the dickens out of them.

Personnaly, I'd ask upper floor with gazebo view. Had that one year and really appreciated it.

Happy planning?
