2011 DISers Halloween Party Dates & Costumes List

Just bought our party tickets for Oct 31st. Still trying to figure out costumes that won't take up too much room in the suitcases.

YAHOO!!! The whole family will be there Oct 13-15, attending the party on Fri the 14th. Mom, Dad, 11-year-old dd and 8-year-old twin sisters. We're going as a family of garden gnomes :cool1:

DH, DS, and I will be there October 22-29 and attending the Halloween Party on October 25. Don't know about my boys yet, but I'm going as Rosie the Riveter. Can't wait!

That is a super cute idea!!

We are still deciding what do dress up as... looks like we will not be a "group" thing as dd (11yrs) is being all tween about what she will and will not wear :rotfl: gotta love it!
Any suggestions for the tween in your life :confused3
She said no princesses :( but was maybe thinking Elizabeth Swann or Alice.

Looks like we are going to go on the 3rd

I am updating the Party list. I am way behind, so this may take awhile. Thanks for your patience.

This will be our very first Disney Halloween, so we'll definitely be going to a party!

We're waiting to see which days are available for Halloween parties. We're counting down until July 1 (tickets go on sale for us lowly regular public). We'll be there October 1-7 (DD birthday on the 5th) and will likely pick the party closest to her birthday. She'll be going as Rapunzel (current favourite princess) but may change her mind once she actually knows where we're going. Still waiting to see what we can find for DH and myself for costumes as I never have time to make anything and don't know where we can buy before September.

I know you may have posted your Party date, but did you decide what night you will be attending? I would love to add you to the list.

We also will be going to MHP, but our only chance will be on the 31st because we don't arrive until the 29th, and I don't think they are doing it on the 30th are they? This will be our third time doing the party, but the first time doing it at DL! The first year we had seven adults plus our DD so she was snow white, and each adult had a different dwarf t-shirt. We had several compliments! This year will be tricky because she will be 10 (going on 20) but very much a tomboy, and she doesn't know we are even going!!! I will try and come up with suggestions, but last year she wanted to be a Buy More Girl from "Chuck", so not sure what this year will be. Either way I know we will have a blast!

Traci

Hi Traci! I have added your name to the Party list. Let me know what your DD decides to be and I will add that info.

We are going on Halloween. The boys want to be Clone Troopers, and since we always do a family theme, I get to be Leia and DH picked the old, dying Anakin/Darth Vader with his helmet off hahahaha.

They really want to use their voice-changing helmets. I know Disney's rule is that eyes must be visible. You can (barely) see their eyes through the helmet, but I would totally understand if they didn't let the boys wear them. In that case, the boys agreed that they would just carry them under their arms.

Obviously not with those shirts haha

What fun to dress as a family. You guys will look great! Oh, you are added to the list.

There will be some change in one of my costumes. I have decided to go for the Ghost Bride instead of the Pirate, but I may switch the days on which I wear the costumes around as well.

Bought our tickets for the party on the 18th. This will be our first time attending the Halloween Party. So excited! :goodvibes

I just bought our tickets :cool1: they are printing as I type! Oct 25th, working on a Monster's Inc theme (have not given up on that!), we'll seewhat I come up with.

Monsters, Inc. + Halloween = perfect match! At least I think so! I can't think of any better representation of Halloween, Disney Style (except for Haunted Mansion and Pirates characters), than Monsters!:sulley:

It's official! We're going to the Halloween Party on 10/3!

I don't know what me and DH's costume will be, but our son will be a Jedi. We got the costume already. He's actually having a Star Wars themed party in August, so we thought we'd get him the costume now and he can wear it both times.

Don't know about DH or DS, but I'm going to the Halloween Party on 10/25 as Rosie the Riveteer.

I worked a bit on updating the MHP list today.

Bert Chimneysweep, ldagenhart, AZBeth, specialks, PixiDustDears, madis0nlee, Go Mickey, Saskiwi, LadyFaire88, DisneyFairytale and DizMe, I have added your names to the Party dates you have mentioned you will attend.

The 25th Party is, so far, is the winner for most attended DIS'er

Maybe we'll see you there! We're also going 10/3 with DD (5). She's going to be Rapunzel but DH and I haven't decided on costumes yet.

We're going to MHP on the 3rd as well (also from Canada). DD is a big Alice fan but is going as Rapunzel since its her new favourite. Elizabeth Swann is a good choice for a tween, but keep in mind that POTC is closed until November  I'm so disappointed as its my favourite. :(

It's official!
