2006 DVC Member Cruise - SSMC06 - October 22, 2006

Yes I'm yelling because this is our 1st DVC cruise as members.

We were on the Wonder back in 2000.
I Can't wait to get acquainted with everyone else who are going too.
We just got back from SSR last week for Thanksgiving.

oh and to Kerlynne when we were on the Wonder in 2000 we had room 2116 and it was awesome. Great location I might add.

Just thought I'd intro myself as I've not posted here before. My name is Ilene and I live south of Boston with my DH of 25 yrs and 2 adult children. Also two terrific schnoodles pups. We are "seasoned" disneyites and I have been a member of Disneydollarless since near it's inception. I've been on these boards awhile too but not very active. I'm am thrilled to be able to join the rest of you on this new member cruise. I had so wanted to do it this year but it was DD first week at college and I knew I needed to be nearby if she needed me, and it turned out she did so I'm glad I didn't chance it. Hey Lily - Your SSMC05 picture CDs were mailed out on Thursday, so you should get them sometime this coming week. Let me know when they arrive.

Hey Cheryl - don't get me wrong, I wasn't saying that you wouldn't do a good job with the shirt hand-off, etc. It's just that it's a LOT of work and could result in problems. We can find out what the majority wants to do and go from there. I just know that I was disappointed last year when we couldn't get baby tshirts because the design wouldn't fit. And, we weren't offered the option to change the size of the logo to fit tiny kids tshirts. And, I know that some of the other companies do that. But, maybe the cost for you finding a local company would be so much cheaper than cp or zazzle that everyone would want to do that. I think that we just need to explore all options.

Absolutely, get another 1GB memory stick

I have three 512 mb cards and at the highest setting can get about 520 - 540 pictures. If that ain't enough, it means I'm not spending enough time in the water. I'll probably bring my laptop anyway, so I can offload the pictures if I need to.
