We need some pixie dust and prayers for my nephew. My BIL was in a terrible accident this morning in that his van rolled. My 3 year old nephew, unknown to his Dad, had unbuckled his seat belt. Because of this he was ejected through the back window of the van. He has MANY stitches, his head, his cheek, especially his knees that they had to operate to get all the glass out, and his feet. He was choppered up to Cooper Hospital in Camden and will spend at least one night. The initial cat scan did not detect any other problems. He is on morphine to control his pain. Please pray for his speedy recovery. Also, pray that they will still be able to take their trip to Disney in January. They planned to drive their van down but now it is totalled. They have 3 kids so they are not sure about driving in anything much smaller. I hope it will work out for them, they already bought their tickets to the pirates and princesses party.
pixiedust: and lots of prayers for your family, especially for your DN. I hope they'll be able to make their trip.

Hmm depending on the night Matt may be wearing a tie as well - but being the casual people we are we might need some reminders on tie tying :)

:wave2: Bear with me, i'm playing catch up ::yes::

My father taught me how to tie a full windsor, I could help Matt tie his tie

Well, no giclee here in St. Petersburg, and still no docs either. I haven't seen the UPS man, but maybe he just didn't have any deliveries on my street. Oh well, there's always tomorrow. :confused3
Kudos to you for being so patient! Although you do have some time. We on the other hand are running out of time quickly as we arrive in Disney on the 17th. I can happily say our Docs have come in! I wish someone would come in and pack our suitcases now!!!

Joy! Joy! Joy!!

No docs or glicee here, but I did get good news at the doctor's today. The ultrasound showed only several cysts and very dense tissue. I told Ken that I always knew I could be a little dense at times, but I never knew exactly where! I need to go back in 6 months for a follow-up, but in the meantime, it's smooth sailing for me on SSMC06! :teeth:

Now I really need to get busy making my list and starting to pack! If only those docs would show up!!

So glad to hear the good news. Now you can rest easy and really have something to celebrate on the cruise!!! :cloud9:

I have to admit I was a little surprised to see such a small package for such a big deal!!!! :scratchin

The smart alek in me so WANTS to reply to this, but no matter how I spell it out is either comes out sexist, religious or just plain wrong. So I'm just gonna sit here, stay quiet and have another KK.

:wave2: It's really killing you isn't it Curt

Have a KK for me
:drinking1

Prayers and PD to your BIL and his family!!!
Our prayers go out to you all. That is so sad. I pray everyone will be just fine and soon on the mend. :grouphug:

Just a silly question maybe but ...Pirate Night is done during dinner in all restaurants on that particular night? And does everyone stay dressed up in their gear the entire night?

Add Tom to the mix and I think the three of them could get kicked off the ship or sent to jail.

I didn't send any last year, but in May I tried to mail some. The post office was closed on our first day at CC because it was Sunday (makes sense). Well when we came back on Friday it was closed again due to a holiday. There was a note to drop your postcards off at guest services. I did that but to this day they have never made it to their destinations. I wonder if they ever were mailed.

Well that kind of stinks.

OK, I have finally caught up on all the pages. I know there are lots of congrats for birthdays, anniversary and post counts. A big congrats to Mary on her great news.
Get wells for Mom's hip and the sister with the heart problem.

Meanwhile, we are headed out tomorrow to the Albany area. Maybe we will be in the same place as Stacy and Diana but we won't know it because we have never actually met, yet. I believe we are going Home Depot Sat. morning, to an apple orchard Saturday afternoon and to a corn maze in Saratoga area on Sunday.
Try not to post toooo much over the weekend. Two weeks from right now we will be in Disney World!!! Woo hoo.

:wizard: P&P for you Nephew.
Sounds like a lovely fall weekend in the Northeast you have planned. Our plans are just a bit different.
A small Scouts meeting on Saturday, re-arrange the shed so that we can actually get to things. Possibly hit an apple orchards to get some apples and maybe a pumpkin.
I will be with Diana at some point on Sunday to do some things for the kids gifts, and no plans yet for Monday.

Might be something I have to try since I hate cooking. I guess I don't really hate cooking, I'm just sick of cooking the same things over and over. Ah, who am I kidding - when John talked to my parents about us getting married they told him "she doesn't like to cook, she never learned to cook and there are no refunds".
I do like the flexibility of how many meals and being able to divide them up if necessary. Thanks for the info.

Ok that's funny!! :rotfl2:

My parents sat Jeff down before we got married and said "Ya know she's not an easy person to live with. If you want to change your mind we'll understand"
Can you believe that!

Well mine must be coming soon if you got yours, especially since we only live like 5 miles from each other!
