Joy! Joy! Joy!!

No docs or glicee here, but I did get good news at the doctor's today. The ultrasound showed only several cysts and very dense tissue. I told Ken that I always knew I could be a little dense at times, but I never knew exactly where! I need to go back in 6 months for a follow-up, but in the meantime, it's smooth sailing for me on SSMC06! :teeth:

Now I really need to get busy making my list and starting to pack! If only those docs would show up!!

:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Okay! So I just checked the thread post count. If I keep posting :surfweb: I could make it into the top 10 posters club! :thumbsup2

My problem is my job is getting in the way of me posting! :rotfl2:

Just check tomorrow when you get into work and see if your boss minds if you spend the next 2 weeks posting on the boards. I'm sure he/she will see the importance of this milestone :rotfl:

Wow! Congratulations Amy on 5,000 posts! Can you make it to 6,000 before we cruise?
Uhhhh, I think that's a bit of a stretch, since I have just over 2,000 for this entire thread!!! But, I would imagine at least a couple hundred. :rotfl2:

Well! Let's see. I had to meet with the COO of the company today to discuss the year-end projections and 2007 budget submission that has to be submitted by end of day tomorrow. Then next week, I'm in meetings for at least 4 hours every day.

Hmmm! I wonder if I'd get could use my blackberry in those meetings to respond to urgent business (hehehe) emails! The only problem is that it takes forever to read one post on this thread. I couldn't imagine having to keep up with multiple pages.

I wasn't going to post because I didn't want Curt to notice how close I am to knocking him out of the top ten spot but then I thought a little competition is healthy! :rotfl:

I figured there would be massive amounts of pages to read for the couple of hours I was away tonight.

I was away for the evening trying something different. We went to one of those meal preparation places and made some meals. It was interesting. We made 7 meals that I put in the freezer for when we will be gone on vaca. All that needs to be done is thaw and pop in the oven or crock pot. Everyone was complaining they were bored with our usual meal selections.

Congrats to all who received docs/giclee…nothing here yet.

We have a couple of those places around here too. I haven't tried them yet, I wasn't sure what quantities you had to buy in, or if you had to buy a certain # of weeks worth of food.

Was it pretty easy as far as the packaging and carting it all home?

I know the places around here (I have a friend that owns one) you can choose to make 3, 6 or 12 meals from a menu that changes each month. Each meal serves 4-6 people but as you are prepping them you can divide them smaller so you could get 24 meals for 2 people, just 2 of each meal. All you bring is a cooler (or if you live real close we use a laundry basket) and make sure you have room in your freezer.

OK, I have finally caught up on all the pages. I know there are lots of congrats for birthdays, anniversary and post counts. A big congrats to Mary on her great news.
Get wells for Mom's hip and the sister with the heart problem.

We need some pixie dust and prayers for my nephew. My BIL was in a terrible accident this morning in that his van rolled. My 3 year old nephew, unknown to his Dad, had unbuckled his seat belt. Because of this he was ejected through the back window of the van. He has MANY stitches, his head, his cheek, especially his knees that they had to operate to get all the glass out, and his feet. He was choppered up to Cooper Hospital in Camden and will spend at least one night. The initial cat scan did not detect any other problems. He is on morphine to control his pain. Please pray for his speedy recovery. Also, pray that they will still be able to take their trip to Disney in January. They planned to drive their van down but now it is totalled. They have 3 kids so they are not sure about driving in anything much smaller. I hope it will work out for them, they already bought their tickets to the pirates and princesses party.
Meanwhile, we are headed out tomorrow to the Albany area. Maybe we will be in the same place as Stacy and Diana but we won't know it because we have never actually met, yet. I believe we are going Home Depot Sat. morning, to an apple orchard Saturday afternoon and to a corn maze in Saratoga area on Sunday.
Try not to post toooo much over the weekend. Two weeks from right now we will be in Disney World!!! Woo hoo.

Might be something I have to try since I hate cooking. I guess I don't really hate cooking, I'm just sick of cooking the same things over and over. Ah, who am I kidding - when John talked to my parents about us getting married they told him "she doesn't like to cook, she never learned to cook and there are no refunds".

I do like the flexibility of how many meals and being able to divide them up if necessary. Thanks for the info.

There is one of these companies close to where I live. I've thought about trying it out for those nights when I have to work late and don't have time to plan ahead. What type of meals did you get?

Yeah! I thought about you all day. I was hoping you would find out the results today instead of having to wait.
