OK, I have finally caught up on all the pages. I know there are lots of congrats for birthdays, anniversary and post counts. A big congrats to Mary on her great news.
Get wells for Mom's hip and the sister with the heart problem.

We need some pixie dust and prayers for my nephew. My BIL was in a terrible accident this morning in that his van rolled. My 3 year old nephew, unknown to his Dad, had unbuckled his seat belt. Because of this he was ejected through the back window of the van. He has MANY stitches, his head, his cheek, especially his knees that they had to operate to get all the glass out, and his feet. He was choppered up to Cooper Hospital in Camden and will spend at least one night. The initial cat scan did not detect any other problems. He is on morphine to control his pain. Please pray for his speedy recovery. Also, pray that they will still be able to take their trip to Disney in January. They planned to drive their van down but now it is totalled. They have 3 kids so they are not sure about driving in anything much smaller. I hope it will work out for them, they already bought their tickets to the pirates and princesses party.
Meanwhile, we are headed out tomorrow to the Albany area. Maybe we will be in the same place as Stacy and Diana but we won't know it because we have never actually met, yet. I believe we are going Home Depot Sat. morning, to an apple orchard Saturday afternoon and to a corn maze in Saratoga area on Sunday.
Try not to post toooo much over the weekend. Two weeks from right now we will be in Disney World!!! Woo hoo.

Prayers and Pixie Dust for your Nephew!

Joy! Joy! Joy!!

No docs or glicee here, but I did get good news at the doctor's today. The ultrasound showed only several cysts and very dense tissue. I told Ken that I always knew I could be a little dense at times, but I never knew exactly where! I need to go back in 6 months for a follow-up, but in the meantime, it's smooth sailing for me on SSMC06! :teeth:

Now I really need to get busy making my list and starting to pack! If only those docs would show up!!

Glad to hear it all worked out!

I figured there would be massive amounts of pages to read for the couple of hours I was away tonight.

I was away for the evening trying something different. We went to one of those meal preparation places and made some meals. It was interesting. We made 7 meals that I put in the freezer for when we will be gone on vaca. All that needs to be done is thaw and pop in the oven or crock pot. Everyone was complaining they were bored with our usual meal selections.

Congrats to all who received docs/giclee…nothing here yet.
I've thought about doing those meal prep places, to try something new around here. Maybe I'll give it a try, because we have several around here.

It rained on CC on the last Member's Cruise? I must be blocking something, I don't remember that :confused3

Must have been those 2-for-1 drinks at Heads Up that have clouded your memory. :drinking1 :beach: :drinking1 :beach: :drinking1

Prayers and pixiedust: coming your nephew's way. How scarry. More pixiedust: for a speedy recovery. How is your BIL doing, is he ok?

He only has road rash on his right shoulder from when the van flipped and his shoulder hit the road where the drivers window would have been, it broke out during the flip.
Thanks for the p&p.

Chris

We got our documents today here in Kansas! I don't know what I expected, but it wasn't a little booklet like that.:confused3

I remember feeling that let down too last year. The way everyone was so excited, I expected to see this huge packet of stuff arrive that when we opened it would have balloons & streamers coming out of it.

Sady, nothing here yet. :sad2:

Ok that's funny!! :rotfl2:

My parents sat Jeff down before we got married and said "Ya know she's not an easy person to live with. If you want to change your mind we'll understand"
Can you believe that!

Nice of your parents to support Jeff that way?!?!?!

Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah Tip Of The Day

For an early morning wake-up to a late night before bed snack you only have to pick up the phone. That's right room service is available 24 hours a day.

For a continental breakfast or your morning coffee you can hang your order outside your door (look for the door hanger in your desk). Or how about a mid-day treat. Don't forget milk and cookies before bed. Did you know you can even order a mickey bar from room service.

Here's the tip. Before you leave home collect one dollar bills in a small envelope. Keep this near the door (there is a small chest of drawers right next to the closet and we keep ours in the top drawer). Now you'll always have a dollar or two for tipping room service.

Want to be more inventive? Take dollar coins or $2 bills.

Cool concept. How did you find out about a place like that? I just might have to sign Walker & Gary up -- they would love to cook dinners together.

Chris - prayers and pixie dust for you nephew. Here's hoping he heals fast and that the family can make their planned trip to WDW.

OMG - I can't believe that we're down to only 16 days!!! I have 3 more days to worry about this birthday party, then it's all cruise planning for those last 13 days!!!

Chris, I'm so sorry for your newphew. I hope today is finding he's healing a little bit and not in so much pain. Prayers & pixiedust for all of them. pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust:

Might be something I have to try since I hate cooking. I guess I don't really hate cooking, I'm just sick of cooking the same things over and over. Ah, who am I kidding - when John talked to my parents about us getting married they told him "she doesn't like to cook, she never learned to cook and there are no refunds".

Me too, Gail. It's never been my cup of tea. Gary likes to cook, Walker likes to cook. They do it together when Walker decides he wants to make a "special dinner" as he calls it. I don't like to bake either --- forget homemade cookies & brownies in this house -- I feel that's why we have stores like Sam's bakery.

Busy day today. Piano lessons, then a complete scoping out of the Build a Bear store (complete with lists, floor plans and diagrams) then rehearsal. By the time I got home I was ready to crash!!

Karen, how did the contest go? How much loot were the kids able to grab up in the time they were alloted? :)
