I want to really thank everyone out there. Instead of "rushing" to the ER - I took 2 Ibuprofen and well the pelvic pain is there but less.

No idea on the Gallbladder, I'll know more the 18th.
If I'm not available to post Todd will.

-Cheryl

I hope you feel better soon and don't have to go to the ER.

Hmm wonder if there will be formal nights on the med cruises??? We really need to buy Matt a tux as we are going to a private event in Narnia that is formal in December and it seems he could use one. Any suggestions of good places other than suit shops?

I know this has been answered by others but JC Penny's does carry tuxedos and there was a sale on them until Tuesday of this week where you could buy by the piece. The discount was 50% off and they may still be disounted some. Also, sportcoats and suits were sold the same way with the same discount.

If these have been answered-forgive.

1..Is Pirate Night the only special dress night?

2..Re: Castaway Cay excursions
They show a catamaran sight seeing cruise but no way to reserve-
does that mean it is no longer available?
Thanks

1st the questions.
Will we still get cruise documents now that they have online registration?

Yes, 'cause I just called MS this afternoon to make sure they send them to work instead of home! Want to make sure I get them! With the move and not having the key to the new mailbox.............

They will have to send us the luggage tags!

It's a much smaller package then before but it's something! They also send the forms just in case someone does not have access to the internet.

I'm a little out of it this week. Jeff is in Long Island all week so it's been just me and the kiddo. I had a meeting at the school last night and we had scouts tonight. Worse part of this week is I got a call late last night from Jeff's sister saying his uncle passed away. We knew it was coming but thought he would make it a few more weeks (he had cancer and was going thru chemo). Well the Funeral is out by Philly Pa this Friday and
we will not be able to make it. Sorry for the downer.

Sorry for your loss. Please pass my condolences on to Jeff.

OH MY GOODNESS!!!!

Fed ex came today. But Mike was expecting pool chemicals and so I didn't answer. Well, Mike just got home and said "do you realize there is a Fed ex letter out here addressed to KT?" HUH?

We opened it up....................

KT HAS WON A SHOPPING SPREE AT BUILD A BEAR WORKSHOP!!!!!!!!!!! SHE WILL HAVE 45 SECONDS TO STUFF AS MUCH "STUFF" AS SHE CAN INTO ONE OF THE BOXES YOU TAKE YOUR BEAR HOME IN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SHE'S ALLOWED TO INVITE ONE FRIEND. SHE IS TAKING NICK!!!!! :)

Of course, being the good mom that I am, I talked strategy. Usually KT and Nick could spend 30 minutes deciding on one outfit. I told them that just WON'T do. I told them they are going to have to grab stuff without thinking about it. Go for the good stuff that's easy to stuff in a box. Go for the things that will sell well on ebay (and they can keep the profits and take it to build a bear and buy what they want without rushing)

OH MY GOODNESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's too cool, even cooler that she thought to share it with her brother!

On the way home from the airport, I had to stop by and see Christopher and he was in a photo mood - the first pic I took while he was saying "mmum-mum"

I was glad to see he remembered me - I thought he would - can you believe he's 6 months old already?

Welcome back Mary!

Christopher is adorable and growing so fast!

Important Dining Poll:

I just got off the phone with DCL regarding early dining for our cruise. For those of us who have decided to link with others from this thread for dining, I'm going to take a poll as to what rotation you would prefer so that I can note that to DCL.

Here are the options:

1. Triton's 5:30 This would be TAAP
2. Animator's 5:45 This would be APPT
3. Parrot Cay 6:00 This would be PTTA

4. I don't have a preference

If you could please post your preference here, I will pick up the results.

I don't want any hard feelings, so whichever rotation has the most votes is what I'm going to request.

Keep in mind this does not mean we will get this rotation, it's only a request.

Thanks.

Cindy

#3 then #2 for us.

Jacqui

Well, we got a call (that means someone got in)

The lucky actor is......Nick. He got the role of Destiny, the precocious 4 yr old.
The director did say that he was VERY impressed with KT and that she was very talented, but her size was an issue. She just wasn't tall enough to make a convincing 12 yr old because Destiny would only be a few inches shorter than her. He encourages her to keep auditioning b/c she's good. :) That helped a little, but she's still pretty sad. With this being the WORLD PREMIER of this play (it's never been done before) she wanted so badly to be the original! :)

So that's where we stand. Rehearsals for Nick start Monday. Craziness will now commence for the next 6 weeks. :)

Sorry for the delay in responding but I have been out of town.

I too, travelled with a 12 wk old (my second son) on a cruise 4 yrs ago and found the following helpful:
--ready made formula
--used the cruise line sheets, just put one of his receiving blankets over it so it was the same as what he was used to
--used the bottles with the drop in liners--easier to clean up--only had to "wash" the nipples and lids, just rinsed out the bottles
--brought small bottle of dish soap for clean up of bottles
--booked some time in the nursery so we could have a quiet dinner but also found that late seating worked as he was always asleep by then and pretty much slept through every meal. One lady asked if he was even real as she had never heard a sound from him
--the stroller was our best friend, he would be very content to sit/lay there--if you don't have one, invest in a good one

Congrats on the new one and I am sure that you will have a great time. Up here in Canada we are still allowed to bring baby formulay/bottles on board. Check with the airline if you are flying.

Jacqui

Kerri, to add to what Jacqui is saying here--don't be discouraged by all the folks on the DIS who rant and rave about not bringing a stroller onboard or only bringing a small umbrella stroller. An umbrella just won't work for a baby that young. Hopefully you have one of those travel system strollers with the infant carrier that pops in and out. This will be invaluable to you not only on the cruise, but in the baby's first 8 months or so. Don't listen to what people say--take it with you. The toughest part of cruising with a stroller is the elevators, you have to wait, surprising people are less likely to use the stairs after eating all that food. :confused3 But we had our double stroller last cruise and I seriously would have jumped overboard without it. We stored it in the tub when we weren't showering so it wasn't taking up a ton of room and it fit in the dining room at the table no problem.

Well it looks like it was Destiny that you didn't accept the waitlist for the Member cruise. Congrats to Nick and hugs to KT.

Well I have a very rough day today ;) I'm on my way out to get a manicure and pedicure, then I have to stop by the Party Store to pick up something for John's pirate costume (it's a wig, but don't tell him), then it's on to get my hair highlighted and cut. I sure hope I'm up for all this "work" :rotfl: Still have lots of packing to do - but I have time (I think).

Oh you poor thing! :rotfl:
I would have gladly traded places with you. Listening to adults cry on the phone at work is just not fun.

Congrats to Nick!! :cheer2:
That's to bad for KT. Luckily she has the mad dash at BaB to fall back on to lift her spirits.

Thank you all for your condolences. I'll pass them along to Jeff too when I speak to him later tonight.
